Set an alarm to go off every 10-30minutes. Every time it goes off practice ADA as long as you can before you lose concentration/forget. Rinse and Repeat. |

I have trouble maintaining All Day Awareness because I spend most of my time playing video games that require most of my attention. |

This is comming from a guy who used to play video games 24/7 and stared at the screen until the images burned into his subconscious... |

Just remember to reality check while you play video games. You don't have to physically do anything, or interrupt your game. Just be aware of yourself every few minutes. Pull a bit of attention out of the game and back to your body. The same thing applies to reading, painting, ect. Anything that takes a lot of attention. |

Sorry for posting in your thread but I have a similar question regarding ADA. Is ADA just how your body feels through the day, paying attention to your breathing, muscles working, etc. Or is it everything around you also, the sounds, sights and smells of everything near by. For example just stopping what you are doing and paying attention to all the sounds may it be nature or a workplace, is that practicing ADA? So I guess what i am asking is it awareness of you, or awareness of you and everything around you? |

yes, ADA is paying attention to all the sounds may it be nature or gunfire. watch the way you move, breathe, notice everything, just be aware. |
