Hello all! might as well try to meet some of you c:

Hellloooooo fellow dreamviewers! I learned about lucid dreaming after experiencing one about a week ago. I've always had vivid dreaming, and my brain would not let this subject go until I learned all I could about Lucid dreaming.

Obviously, I'm new here, so let me tell you some things about myself. I'm 14, I live in the USA, and me names Connor. I've been reading all the forums, and I hope to talk with a lot of you Anyways, I have had a lot of the same troubles with the fellow who's posted before me, Guitarman27612. Its very eerie, we have almost the exact problem when it comes to inducing sleep paralysis except I don't see HI. Haha its nice to know someone else is experiencing the same problem as I am.

Alright, I'm about done, so yeah! Feel free to pm me if you just want to talk or if you think you could help with my problem (eyes opening before SP)
This seems like a very dedicated and nice community Bye!

Vivid dreams should make it easier for you to LD.

You don't have to see HI during SP. I only see it some of the time, lots of time I go into SP without seeing or hearing or feeling anything.

      Hi Texture, welcome to Dreamviews!

My name is Conner . It sounds like your attempting to WILD in order to have lucid dream. We have some great WILD guides here on the site including King Yoshi's WILD Technique and My own WILD Guide.

I hope to see you posting around here on the site, and good luck! If you have any question please feel free to message me!

      Welcome to DV Connor
A lot of people have the same issue, when i try WILDs (not very often though) things like this would happen to me.
I recommend you read the guides Mancon suggested
This is a really great and helpful community so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them.

Hi Connor, welcome to Dreamviews! Like ninja said, you won't always experience HI before or during SP; the majority of my own experiences have been like that. I just suddenly end up feeling a bit different, awareness-wise, and then get vibrations or SP hallucinations. If your eyes are opening involuntarily, it might be due to REM; it's not an uncommon thing to happen during or before sleep paralysis; you can solve this by keeping your room as dark as you can (so even if your eyes open, it won't make a difference), or wearing a sleep mask. The pressure of the mask sitting over your eyelids might help to keep them closed. If you just can't seem to get your eyes to stop moving because you're excited for the WILD, or are simply not relaxed enough, try dimming the lights for fifteen minutes or so before you go to bed. If you're doing the WILD during a WBTB, don't turn the lights on that much, and don't look at bright lights like that of the computer screen.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Hi Connor, welcome! Keep in mind that sleep paralysis is completely common and normal.
