      Sometimes I don't, er, dream?

Sometimes I don't think I have dreams because I don't remember them at all or I won't have the experiences I usually have when I dream.

Am I not dreaming at all? It makes it hard for me to try to lucid dream sometimes.

Everyone dreams every night, usually 8 times in a full night's rest. People just don't remember. Keeping a dream journal really really helps with remembering your dreams. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me!

So I forget every single dream I have? I can remember my dreams pretty well for the most part. Sometimes I can even remember fine details, but sometimes it really feels like I had no dreams.

Before I joined here, I also thought I simply didn't dream at all. I couldn't remember a single dream for months. But then I started to keep a dream journal, and was able to remember two dreams the very first night. Now, I remember four dreams per night at minimum after only a few weeks.

So if you're not keeping a dream journal yet, you should do so. It is one of the most important aspects in lucid dreaming.
This tutorial tells you just about anything you need to know about keeping a dream journal.

      I hope this helps.

That happens, a factor is how much you wake up in the night. If you sleep really heavily sometimes it seems you lay down, wake up 9 hours later, and it feels like 5 minutes had passed by.
Maybe try to drink water before bed so you can wake up more in the night, dream journal of course, and just confidence in general.
Your recall will slowly shift to becoming better keep at it.

      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

What if I pee in my bed? lol. Peeing in dreams feels so natural that you're like, "I'm not wedding my bed!" and then you feel the heat of the piss in your dream and you're like, ""

Sometime I remember lots of dreams in a night. Sometimes I don't remember anything. I just try to lucid dream the next night.

I have also peed many times in my dreams. Usually when I pee in a dream it's like the pee never ends. But it's never made me pee the bed.

I drank a lot of water before I went to sleep, but like what usually happens, I could only start remembering the dreams I had probably minutes before I woke up, and I also didn't have to pee until I awoke.

Oh, and I had a chase dream + a prison break dream, and the ending of that was me walking around like an ape, and then moving around in a turtle freeze (a b-boy thing (breakdance)) and then doing more b-bboy moves. Then I heard the inevitable sound of my mom's voice telling me to wake up.

Did you write those dreams down in your dream journal? Try to write down as many details as you can. That way you will more or less tell your mind to pay more attention to the dreams. Not only that, but the more details you write down, the better your recall will become.

Also, here is a dancing muffin:

I wrote it down but another thing I noticed is during a very long chat with myself in the shower, is that when I dream it's almost like as if I'm acting out a movie... something that can't be changed, basically. In this dream I had, I jumped from like 100 feet and landed on my ARMS, ready to walk like an ape again. I couldn't even (in the dream) go, "Wait what the hell? There's no way I just did that!" I just accept it and keep going.

Does the fact that I have a weird sleep schedule count? My usual sleeping time is anywhere from 4 - 6 AM and then waking up anywhere between 1 - 5 PM. I woke up at 5 today and went to bed at like 7 last night.

That is very common when your awareness is low. Spend some time reading through the forum. There are lots of great tutorials here, and lots of information that answers your questions quite well. If you want to start increasing your recall, you need to make more effort. People naturally wake up at the end of each REM cycle, so you do wake briefly in the night, but if you're a heavy sleeper then you must not be aware of it. Try setting an alarm to wake you up a few times in the night. You'll be able to remember more dreams that way. The key is learning to remain conscious throughout the night. It isn't easy, but with hard work and determination it can be done, you just have to be willing to put in some effort. If you're sleeping 9 hours, that is plenty of rest to remember a ton of dreams.

Sweet! I don't know how well I'd listen to an alarm, but I'll set one of me screaming, "WAKE UP!" over and over again or something. I think I am a pretty heavy sleeper, at least until I'm getting ready to wake up in the afternoon.

When u wake up and u dont remember ur dreams dont just rush into the idea that u didnt have dreams.
sit there a while and think about, and they'll probably pop up.
its happened to me some times

My dad can only remember like 1-2 dreams every second year.

Before I started training, I could only remember 3-4 dreams a week. Now I can remember 2-5 dreams a night, often more. keep on training, then I'm sure it's getting better. But it takes time. It took me a month, to remember 1 dream every night.

Good luck, with your dream recall and lucid dreaming. :3

So perhaps I should have mentioned that I'm not the best at going to sleep.

I usually hit the sack anywhere from 4-6 AM, and from the moment I lay down to the moment I fall asleep takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. This is a huge problem for me if I set alarms during the night. I'll probably wake up and then have to restart the cycle again.

The other day I set an alarm for 8:45 AM. I woke up and snoozed it, and then tried to go back to bed but it took like 20 minutes.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH and also! I had a dream the other day where I was on the phone with a girl from Texas, and on my phone (iPhone 4) I could READ EVERYTHING. It really tripped me out. I thought you weren't supposed to be able to read stuff like the time or names.

I think it's a great idea, but for the price, impractical.
If money is no object ( and I mean no object ) give it a try and tell us how good it is.
