Post Introduction and a little of my Experinaces

Hello, yeah, how does one introduce one self ?
Im born 17 october 1993. makes me 17...but dont take my word for it. i barely passed math class.

I have been trying to lucid in well about 2-3 weeks actively and have had a few random DILD experiances before trying..

The latest dream i had, was pretty f***ing scary.
I was at my grandmothers house, (i realized after the dream that nothing of it was rigth, or made sense) some how , i found my self in the bathroom taking my laptop with me, for obvious reasons ...then suddently my grandmotherr comes in and cathes me in the act and i am returned to awaereness, awake. my heart is pumping like a steam-locomotive over 300 bpm (or atleast really fast) my whole body was tingeling and was blown up, every body part hurted, it felt like i was going to explode.
Worst feeling i have ever had in my life...and i have had a few. (cut open my cranium TWICE )

So yeah i went to school in class with Honsehauk, he told me about LD and yeah i was naturaly interested...

I am atheist , as i understand most of the people in here also are.
I love to simplify complex things...I also concider my self as a philosopher.

Havent been successfull at LD'ing before sligthly yesterday.

Struggeling with staying whitin a lucid dream while having it, and remebering it (yeah i have read about the journaling and shit) but i dont rember anything after... i can remember parts of the dream BEFORE the dream really sets in but thats about it..

Anything more you would like to know about me, ask.
      Tips and tricks apreciated.

Journaling can take months to boost recall so don't worry much about it right now, about staying in the dream any kind of stabilization will do the trick, also, you can start with whatever you have and start gluing the pieces together in order to remember, that is if you remember before the dream sets.

If you can't remember the dream then it's likely you need to increase your Dream Recall. This can be done by noting down your dreams in the morning, and if you want fully writing them down in the day. I have also heard but not tried using mantras to remember dreams, for example before you go to sleep repeat "I'm remembering my dreams", keep it present tense and first person.
B6 Vitamin is also used to boost recall, you can pick it up at most stores as it's a vital vitamin.
For more information about B6, look here.
If you have any more questions about lucid dreaming just ask, I focused on recall because you said you had problems remembering.
Practice, read as much as you can and good luck!

Hello sir! Welcome to Dreamviews! Not totally sure if this was your first post or not but I figured I would welcome you anyways.

So if you are looking to improve your recall then you can try doing a few things before you go to sleep. The first thing you could do is called a Mantra. A mantra is basically repeating a phrase out loud, over and over. This helps focus your intent on what you want to do. So for example as you fall asleep you could repeat, "I will remember my dreams", or something like that for about 5-10 minutes as you fall asleep. This will give some help in your recall. Another good thing to remember is to write down things in a lot of detail, even if it's a tiny fragment! Don't discard those as useless short parts of a dream because they can help you remember longer fragments and even a full dream! You just need to get into the habit of trying to write down everything you remember and in a good amount of detail.

So you said you have trouble staying in lucid dreams, correct? Well the thing you need to learn is how to stabilize. Dream stabilization is an essential part to keeping yourself in the dream and keeping your awareness high. Now there are a few ways to stabilize a dream and I will give you a few. So really the basic point to stabilization is to connect your dream body to the dream world and to help you stop paying attention to your physical body. So here are a few ways to do it: a common way is to rub your hands together when you feel you might loose the dream, doing this is pretty self explanatory. Another great way (actually my personal favorite) is to just feel everything up! Just rub your hands on the wall or the grass or anything around you! Just feel it and notice how it feels and really focus on that! This has helped me a lot of times.

Sorry for the wall of text, just wanted to give you a nice thorough answer! Happy dreaming!

Well, there is a Dream Journal section of this website that you can write in anytime. Up on the top, there is a button that says "Dream Journals". Click on it, then on the right of the browser, there should be a button that says "Create DJ entry"... or something like that. Knock yourself out!

You are lucky to have a friend in real life to help you lucid dream.

You know, I usually just use the notes app on my Ipod touch. Then I just copy and paste the entries later onto my DV dream journal

      Hey Kennis, Welcome to Dreamviews!

Your birthday is coming up soon! Just eight more days! Happy early 18th birthday!

Haha! That sounds like a pretty scary dream to me! My grandmother is 90...so that would be VERY disturbing.

I'm glad you were interested in lucid dreaming, and found out about Dreamviews! I have tried telling some of my friends about lucid dreaming, and most of them aren't even interested. Can you believe it? Who WOULDN'T want to lucid dream?

Anyway I hope you start having A LOT more lucid dreams and I hope to see you posting around a lot more! PM me if you want to talk or have any questions Good luck!

We have tried to telling our friends about lucid dreaming to. But most of them aren't even interested. It's a shame.

Why didn't we read about lucid dreaming in our school books?
