      Was it a lucid dream?

Strange... I *think* I just had a lucid dream. But I don't know.

I can remember that I did a few reality checks (I could breathe through my nose and I had 6 fingers), and that at the time I did this I thought "Wow, I am lucid dreaming". But I cannot remember more afterwards, I can't even remember where I was at that time, only guess that it was my house's living room. It feels like I only dreamed to lucid dream (Inception-like ). I didn't wake up directly afterwards.

Has anyone experienced this too? It is really strange since I have been trying WILD for a few days, and this evening (after sleeping 1 hour, then waking up, walking around and going to bed without trying WILD again) I managed DILD.

      Thanks, opatut

That's what happens the first few. I have 2 that I just was like "I'm dreaming" Then I went unaware and went back to non lucid. Try stabilizing it really quick

Well I tried by rubbing my hands, and I made it for a few seconds. I can't remember what happened then, but I guess the first part was so memorable that I'd also remember anything interesting that would have happened afterwards

So this was a lucid dream? How cool is that I gotta keep trying

Hey Opatat..if in your dream you realize you are dreaming , even if its only for a few seconds and even if you have no controll, then it is a lucid dream..they usually start of short when your just starting but the more experience you get the better and longer they get, so good for you, well done and keep up the hard work )

You can forget lucid dreams just like you can forget regular dreams. The memories fade so quickly Try to work on improving your dream recall.

Yup, you had a lucid dream for three seconds
Happened to me yesterday, actually. You just have to stabilize the dream and through sheer will try not to forget that you're dreaming and what it means.

You have a much better chance of remembering controlling you're dreams if before you do your technique (Dield, dild, mild, wild) just repeat (I will remember my dreams) 3 times and you'll basically have like 50% better recall then continue your mantra. I went from 1 dream a week to every night maybe even twice a night from remembering them.
