Indeed, as he says above, but if you fail with DILDs after a few months, then do try the WILD technique. For me, I have far higher success rate with WILDs than I do DILD... seems more intentional and certain to begin with. |

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've been reading over the links and they seem really helpful, this looks like it was the right place to start. I have tried the WILD technique before, but I got freaked out because I thought sleep paralysis was only not being able to move I didn't realize hallucinations came with it. I heard knocking and saw weird faces and started thinking my room was haunted. I think I'll try to get some more experience with dreaming before I really try it again. Now I'm thinking of really trying out this ADA. |

Yep, these hallucinations and sounds are a good sign that you're in between the real world and the dream state. Quite a few people get freaked out -- though there is nothing to fear. You'll get the hang of it. ^_^ Either way, it's great that you've already had success with inducing sleep paralysis. |
