I re-discovered Dreamviews, and decided to come back for good !

      Hello,

Today is a good day ! As you can see, I'm registered on this website since January 2008... and only have one message.

The reason is simple : Back then, I discovered lucid dreaming for a mysterious reason that I can't remember now, but I'm sure it involved random interesting readings and link-following on the Internet, since it's something that eats-up most of my spare time !
I remember that I was so excited about this new thing : controlling my dreams seemed like the perfect entertainment and mental-skill to learn.

So I read everything I could to get the basic knowledge and principles, and started "practicing", but with studies etc. I didn't really got into it "seriously". I once tried to keep a "dream journal", but it ended up with only 2 or 3 written dreams... then I must have stumbled upon another "omg so interesting stuff" (yeah, I'm interested in pretty much everything, you could say it's almost an handicap >.< ), and forgot about LD for a time. And when it came back to my thought, it was already too late, I lost motivation and paused for too long.

Since then, I've had some periods when I thought about Lucid Dreaming when talking about it with friends, and that I should read again some material, maybe come back to Dreamviews but... eh, busy life.
I even had ONE (and only :/) Lucid Dream that was totally unvoluntary. I was dreaming about a "carnival" (sorry for my bad english, I'm not sure this is the right word), where I drove a bumper car. Then suddenly the car left its "terrain" and I drove it along the car road. And this is when I realised:
"-Heyy... but WAIT. That is NOT possible. !? I must be dreaming [...] YEAH, I am dreaming, and I know it \o/, OMG I can do everything I waaaant". But I was so happy about becoming lucid that I wake up after 10 seconds at most ! Such a shame. But I was happy that I had my first LD.
      Then... busy life again :/
But I was sure that one day, I'll get into it for real !

And this day has come !

Since I have a job as a programmer for 3 months, I had some bad nights (lot of waking up during the nights), and it happened to be a good thing, because I remembered a lot of my dreams.
And yesterday, after seeing a video about the explanation of final-scene of Inception, I remembered about this "sleeping mask" called Remee that I saw on Kickstarter and decided to search for reviews. I must say I was a bit disappointed, it doesn't seem to be worth the 100$+shipping to Europe
So here I am, back to the good old inductions techniques tutorials . And this time, it's decided, and it's the reason of this looooong and useless message : I will not stop trying after 3 days, and practice until I have consistent Lucid Dreams

So, enough said ! If you think I'm right and that I should stick to it... advice me any source of motivation and success that helped you, and I'd be glad to participate in this forum, howeved small my contribution is
For now, I'll start lurking everything I can find in the Introduction zone and elsewhere to start on the right track

PS: a question for moderators. Could it be possible to change my username on the forum ? This one is an oooold (and ugly) nickname that I no longer use.
