      Hello!

      Hey guys!
I'm Kate, I started lucid dreaming a few years back, I had a long break and recently I've been starting over with a new approach.
When I first got introduced to the idea of LD I found it very easy to achieve, but unfortunately pretty unpleasant.
I wasn't at the best state of mind back then, was very stressed and somewhat depressed and my lucid dreams turned out to be filled with a lot of negativity. The problem wasn't even that they were nightmares, but I had this constant feeling of anxiety. I did my research and knew that I could fight this kind of responses but decided to take a break instead.
Since then I've been having spontaneous LDs from time to time, and with time the anxiety started to vanish.
Lately I've been lucid dreaming spontaneously 2-3 times a week and it's been amazing so I decided to jump into it again. My mind is in a very good place now and I can finally enjoy the experience.
I've learnt that reality checks work best for me, actually the only thing I need to do to have LDs on regular basis is nose plug technique.
I've also noticed some very interesting patterns I'd like to share with you guys so I'm looking forward to joining discussions here.

Hi Kate. Welcome to DreamViews. You seem to know a fair bit, but talking to the people here might help you out a lot. It surely has for me. Feel free to join the Chat for live discussion, or ask about anything on the forum. I'm a little curious on what you call the "Noseplug technique"? Sounds interesting. Also, look in the forum called "Beyond Dreaming" if you are interested in more than just LDing. Anyway, i hope you enjoy your time here. Good luck!

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

Seems like you don't need much help in inducing LDs. That's a great frequency you have there. Btw, I love the nose plug RC. It's such a surprising feeling when you KNOW that you are awake, and then you check and you can breathe through pinched nose : ) Please just jump in any conversation you fid interesting, or make your new threads and share your experiences. If you need help with anything, just let us know. Happy dreams

Hello Kate! Good to have you here! Looking forward to reading about you ld stories.

With 2-3 lds a week, you have plenty of opportunities to turn dreaming into a really enjoyable experience. We have monthly and yearly tasks we do to in lds, you can read more about them here:
