I am new to all of this with the exception of a couple accidental LDs and one OBE that I haven't been able to replicate since. I am hoping to learn a lot from you pros out there and hoping that this forum will keep me motivated. With one success in a month of experimenting, and the exhaustion from the nightly attempts at WILDing, I am on the verge of calling it quits, but I came across this site and figured I would stick it out just a while longer. |

Thanks, I am reading one of Steven La'B's books now at the suggestion of another forum member and he recommends the same thing, saying that WILDs are more difficult when you are starting out. I have a months worth of dream journals and dream recall has never been an issue for me so it is time to start documenting some dream signs and doing some more consistent reality checks from what I am reading. One of the first points Steven makes is that pushing yourself too hard can be counter productive and actually lead to failure rather than success. I think that is where I have been going wrong. My very first shot, very first night, I had insane vibrations, paralysis, 6 false awakenings and an out of body experience. It was probably in the top 10 most unbelievable events of my life. I have been chasing that high ever since without luck. I guess that is why it is called beginners luck. If I could make that a consistent occurrence, life would never be the same you know? |
