What temperature do you feel most comfortable in? What temperature are you most productive in and like your home to be at? |

157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

If I'm just bumming around the house, I like it at 78. If I'm doing a lot of work, 68 or 70 is good. |
|
I thought I was the only one who likes it hotter than room temperature. It seems most people like it colder. I too prefer it to be too hot than too cold. |
|
My kids have a bad habit of extremes. One kid will crank the heat up to 90 (the highest it will go) and I go into hibernation mode because it's sweltering. Then another kid will come along and turn the heat completely off- which also sends me to sleep because it's too freagin cold. |
|
My mom always has the heat at 68. Everyone in my family complains except my dad, but my dad won't complain about almost anything my mom does. Then she has the AC set at around 76+ in the summer if it's on at all. If I change either of them they ask me when I'm gonna start paying the heat bills, even though they have two houses and aren't really hurting for money. My mom doesn't like AC, but I think she just does the heat low because she's cheap, her family was poor when she was a kid and she is just in the habit of living like that. |

I like it very warm, 78-80 F (25-27 C) in the winter and really cool in the summer, 65-68 F (18-20 C). I know, kinda extreme on both ends. My electric bill sucks in the winter. |
|
Right now, I've been putting the heat at 70, same for the summer 70 seems to work |

I can't stand high temperature or humidity. I try to keep my room floating around 5 C (41 F). I live in a pretty cold and dry climate, and I'm so happy that I do. Temperatures around -30 C (-22 F) to -40 C (-40 F) without windchill are common from about September to March. There are exceptions though. We've had as low as -50/-60 C (-58/-76 F) and as high as 5 C (41 F) or 10 C (50 F) during the winter months. For almost 300 days out of the year we get anywhere from 25mph to about 60mph winds with gusts upwards of 70mph being common. |

It's strange that it's so different for different people. I hate cold temperatures. Even when it's too hot, I still feel like I have energy and can work on things and am in a generally good mood. But if it's even a bit too cold it seems my body just shuts down, I lose energy and get depressed and want to sleep. I don't understand how anyone could like the cold. I'd love to live in Florida. |

Depends on the season. If it's hot outside I like the temperature inside to be around 70 degrees. When it's cold I like it to be around 80. Basically whatever is the extreme of the other works well for me though in the spring and fall I generally don't need to mess with the thermostat and just open the windows. I love light jacket, or t-shirt and long pants weather. |

I like it from 17C(62.6F) to 19C(66.2F) as inside temperature throughout the year. Outside I like 22C(71.6F) in the summer and in the winter I like it really cold at about -22C(-7.6F) |

If we're talking about overall weather too... I'd have to say a good spring rain is awesome. Getting that smell of wet soil, the musky smell of wet clays... the smell of old grass if you just mowed the lawn. Rain brings out all sorts of smells! And I love them all. |

37 degrees |

Yeah, as much as I hate BEING cold, my favorite season is now Winter. I'm in a good mood all winter, it seems. Snow seems cleansing and pure to me- a promise of new beginnings and good things to come. All things that Spring normally represents to most people, I seem to connect with Winter instead |

5'5.5 and about 120 pounds, and I get cold really easily. When I was 15 I weighed about 105 and I think I've always gotten cold easily, I don't think I've gotten cold less easily since gaining weight. |

Mine jumped up to 130 after I got out of school. |

This is really interesting. I've never really thought of what someones preferred temperature or weather is... but now that I'm seeing all these differences I'm really suprised! |

21° C / 70° F inside the house. |
