The girl that I think still has some attraction to me asks me if

"could we meet up at the annex or msc (whatever is easier for you) so I could jot down your notes from dr. XXXXXX class?"

She even gives me the option of where to go, whichever is easier for me....

Too bad I didn't go to the lectures either!

Who knows? I could've gotten a free sandwich and a drink if I did!

I'm sure she knows a lot more people than just me, seeing how she's probably one of those popular girls. She could've asked our other lab partner, but he has a girlfriend, so that's X'd out, or even the other girl who is a senior.

Oh well, guess I'll have to give her bad news...

Ahhh, thanks Aly. I've not really been taking Clonazepam. BUT, I did take 1/2 the 2 evenings before taking the Valium. Though they didn't knock me out either and they usually do lol

No real rant for today so far, other than being sleepy. But what else is new lol.
It's very rainy and slushy outside. I'd like to go out for some Sushi, but ehh, not quite motivated enough to go out in that weather

It's raining here as well all day... and one of my cats just went into a really serious catfight with a neighbour's cat... I had to throw a stick at the other one to make them stop clawing eachother... Sigh at these stupids fights of theirs...

I have no motivation to study or do anything really.

I'll have all my exams somewhere in late May - early June and i should really start learning... Only math and physics are the ones that i'm not so good at.... but it's just soo hard to motivate myself to start it finally..

Yeah, I just wish I wanted to do it lol. Physics isn't as bad as math. In math we just learned a bunch of mathematical principals without any real world examples so I'm just like Why should I caare?

Hah true... Physics is a little better and has some point... but i feel the same way about math as you... It's like i'm never gonna use those things we learn... It's like we just learn it to make time pass by faster (or slower, lol) ^^

My examples in math were always like:

Tarzan is swinging on his vine out over the river and back. Jane decides to model his motion mathematically and takes out her stopwatch. If the length of the vine is blah-blah and the time from one tip of his arc is blah-blah, how long does it take blah-blah-blah. Draw a graph and label it.

And that was just the beginning of trig. Weird class.

And I'm not talking about calculating tips, or simple stuff like that.

Those are at least somewhat interesting Melanie... We have stuff that consists only of numbers and signs and whatever... it's so uninteresting...

There is real world application for math, but it's based on your job that how big amount will you use... I don't really plan on getting a job that requires a lot of math work, so i don't see a point in these equations and things like that..

It can definitely make time go slower lol. I even asked my math teacher if he knew any applications of the things we were learning and he just says "sorry, I don't know much about physics" *facepalm*. I could probably just find some myself but again, motivation.

I'm in Calc 2 and learning about series and if they converge or not. There are so many tests and rules for it and I just would like one example of why I want to learn all of it lol. I think electromagnetic waves can be described with fourier series, but there are no examples at all in the book.

You all are talking in some weird language that I don't understand.

I went through Calc I in high school but that was a while back.

I found this page and was reading some of it. It's good stuff.

I saw quite a few things that would lead to real world applications, though not for the average layperson. I used to work at an engineering firm so I probably saw more of it than others might. Still, the applications are wide.

I feel I should know this... I've had like 3 or 4 classes that were more or less dedicated to electromagnetic waves...

edit: Oh, geez, I just got hit with a wave of anxiety... I can't even tell why... I never used to get anxious before... Gah.

Well my dog had her puppies today. I had to stay home today and look after them. Everything went fin until about an hour ago. When I went out there one was dead, talk about a bummer.

The sad thing was that I didn't know and I picked it up.

ColdCrisis... you wouldn't have been able to tolerate me when it comes to learning. I can understand a math problem COMPLETELY fine one minute and then the next, I forget everything and have to start again at square 1. A teacher called me stupid because of it when I was about 7 years old.
I was in LD Math and felt like strangling myself lol

My rant... after struggling to stay awake all day long, I am now practically wide awake. Curse this Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome!!!!!! Why am I seemingly hard-wired to function only at night? Grrrrrr!!!
Other than that, it's been a slow, peaceful day. I've been obsessing over Farmville lol and it seems I'll finish my quest after all
But now I'm burned out. I think I'll snack on some BBQ chips and watch something on Hulu...

By the way farm town is a billion times better than FarmVille. Far town has a market place. I used to play both at the same time. It was an addiction I'm not proud of.

lol, I sometimes play Farm Town too. I'm level 45 or higher, but ehhh, the game just doesn't quite click with me.

Ugh... I have to take my son to see his lawyer tomorrow. Then he has a pre-hearing on Wednesday. I'm ALSO supposed to pick my brother up from jail somewhere, some time on Wednesday.
I am not looking forward to this week...

So, my computers video card just crapped out. It's been giving me problems on and off since December. Guess I just got a defective one. They're sending me a new one but in the meantime I'm using my phone to post here. Totally sucks. I won't be on as much until the new card arrives.
