Dear God, I think Imma gonna die!!!!
Jumping rope with an invisible rope is SO much easier than with the real thing!!!
I bought myself a weighted jump rope when I picked up my daughter earlier. It only has 1/2 a pound in each handle, so it's not all that much. GAH! I couldn't go for more than 2 minutes before stopping for a breather. My pulse was almost 160. After resting for 3 minutes, it's already gone down to 95 though. I discovered I cannot jump rope in place And I tried jumping properly (both feet at once)... nope. Not going to happen until I work out more!

I transcribed my chapter and dictated another after listening to the words I was stumbling over. I tried dictating a third but kept tripping over my tongue . I finally nailed it on my third or forth attempt only to discover the recorder wasn't running lol

After my walk and jumping rope I only burned 195 calories I'm actually 70 calories OVER tonight. Grrr. But you should have heard me laughing as I jumped. I sucked so epically.

i use to be horrible at jump roping too. i was always afraid that the rope might trip me and i'll fall flat on my face if i jump with both foot in air. i use to do more of a skip than a jump. my trainer made me do 4 rounds (each round is 3mins with a 1 min rest in between) after every workout session. eventually i got to the point were i could do 30mins without stopping for rest, even using just one foot sometimes. but it took me a while to get to that point.

i personally think jump rope is an excellent way to get in shape, it just requires a lot of patients at first. i usually prefer the smaller, lighter jump ropes as appose to the weighted ones.

oh i can never skip with a rope... 8 out of 10 times, the rope hits my legs. But I used to do it because I was bored; not for exercise.

So there may be hope for me yet, Tropical?
Anju, when I was a kid, I could jump rope forever. I love it. That and Hulla Hooping (sp). What happened to me I got old and lazy, is that happened lol It's funny what we used to do as kids for fun or because we were bored! Now it's considered work! (at least for me hehe)

My rants are: #1, it's 37 degrees outside. What the heck?! I love cooler temps, but this is ridiculous!
#2 The dog woke me up... and she didn't have to go outside. Grrrr... My eldest had to go to the restroom, so Kierra wanted to investigate
#3 The dog just barked and I got up to investigate and BAM! I feel like a was sucker punched in the gut. What the heck Ugh. This is pretty intense!
Going to take a couple gas-x to see if that's the problem lol and eat something in case it's hunger. Don't think it's hunger though, the punch is different. hehee, how can a punch in the same area feel different? Dummy, me. The hunger punch is usually felt only where my ribs meet... this pain is radiating downward and outward from that spot.

Well i about had it with my 2003 laptop...11 years old and it's time to throw it out. Everything isn't working well, videos like youtube always when it starts it skips like 5 seconds of video but i can only hear the sounds....very annoying. When ever i try to download extra stuff i can't it will completely make the computer slower and more of an ass. When i know there is extra space available it just won't accept it, so i will have to trash and remove the software i wanted just so it can work better....but not 100% better, but i don't use that software often so it's all good.
I'm still thinking of buying a new laptop....but i always hesitate because this one is still working....but i also don't want to go and buy one once this one breaks down and i had to go asap to replace it. :\
I might buy one for my own birthday....idk...still wondering, i know laptops never changed and they all look the same...i really don't like waiting until mine breaks down what if i'm doing something important atm and it does it? URGH

Hathor, my hubby's been having tons of problems with his laptop too. It crashes a couple dozen times every day. He keeps putting off getting a new one as well
Hope yours either improves or you can get yourself a new one. It's nice to get gifts for ourselves sometimes

My new rant is that the pulse reader on my wrist watch isn't working It's getting kind of old though, so I guess that could be it. I've cleaned the back of the watch as well as my wrist but it's still not picking up anything.

A curiosity is that my ankle's sore, but in a different sort of way. Probably a couple of years now, I did something to my ankle while moving heavy boxes. If I pointed my foot, a muscle (?) along the side from below my ankle bone to above it would "jump". Pointing my foot almost always caused it to pop (but not like popping my knuckles, it was somehow different).
Anyhow... I was just outside jumping rope. I usually lead with my right foot (the injured one), but I switched feet. I felt instant discomfort but pressed through it. I pointed it and stretched it afterwards and it let out a very loud pop... and now nothing. Maybe it's swollen? Or maybe something was out of place lol

I took the weights out of the handles of my rope and I did MUCH better... but it's still nothing to brag about I can get in 30 jumps in a row leading with my right and 20 with my left... and then I hit my shins...
I want to do so much more, but I've been reining myself back a bit so I don't injure myself. I also need to learn to stretch BEFORE working out

Gotta go pick up my daughter from work... hope everyone's having a good day

I thought it would have been a typical day from the same parties i go but i guess this time some wall came crashing down.

that's how i can imagine it look like. Welp, everyone gots their own problems...don't wanna see it. I'm good here....and getting better. My turn for happy times.

I got tired of facebook...so I think I'll be on here more hopefully. And regarding the yes man and letting homeless people stay at my place I'm pretty much over being a yes man and I'm definately not letting people stay at my place like that again. Things are looking more positive...

Sounds like quite the party, Hathor

Glad things are turning around, Oneiroer!

I am exhausted. I need to go outside and jump rope for 10 more minutes to negate the extra calories I consumed today I will have "burned" 200 calories today, so that's quite an improvement!! I took the dog on a 45 minute walk this evening, which was really nice. And, oddly enough, now that I'm more active, I'm actually craving water Soda's just not doing it for me...
Even more oddly, my hands feel weighted lol. I don't even want to move them to type this (so please forgive any typos I miss )

I still need to transcribe and dictate 2 chapters (1 book, 1 Bible). Ugh. I just want to crawl into bed.... My foot's been popping some when pointed and it definitely feels a tad swollen. But its not painful, just... not even quite achy. Tender. That's the word.
Maybe I'll just sleep for 30 minutes... heheh, yeah, right. If I go to bed now, there will be no getting me back up until morning! SO!- I better get moving while I still can.

Oh yes, a rant is that I somehow managed to lose a new pedometer I bought the other day. I required a lot of thinking to set up (measuring stride and all that), so I set it aside to deal with later... but now I can't locate it to save my life.
Next thing I'll be working on is organization!!!!

Yeah, pretty much my experience too. Spent a lot of time trying to get female friends to see how shitty their bf's were to them as well, which of course they listened but never took my advice in to action.
You really have to be objective with relationships I think. i.e is the positive for me, or mostly negative? If negative, gtfo. If mostly positive but some negative, work on the negatives by talking about it to them.

I can see your point of view as well though Zhaylin. Not sure if I said it in the last post but I've been thinking about that lately. There's a girl who's not exactly my preferred type, but she's cute and she likes me. She seems nice. I've been wondering whether overall, and being objective as I mentioned, it would just be overall more positive to be with someone like that. Someone who I don't always have to worry whether I'm being what they want me to be. Someone I can just be content with. OTOH, my ex was like that and I just couldn't make myself feel comfortable or *really* in love, though I'm thinking it was maybe coz I didn't know her enough.

Anyway I get both views on this, but yeah, too many girls in particular seem to take the wrong approach and if someone, even the girl, is abusive in the relationship (hi lankan :Z), GTFO.

I also think "love" has been too ??? sensationalized? A lot of people seem to want what they see depicted in movies or read in books. I've never seen or felt love like that. Perhaps I'm just incapable.
Does the person make you laugh; feel better about yourself and the world in general; do you think fondly of them often; do you look forward to the time you share together; can you see yourself growing old with and being loyal to this one person forever?
      To me, that's love.

My rants: I bought a new clearomizer yesterday and it's burning my throat like they do when they get old. If I heat it for longer than usual, I can get around that, but boy it wastes a lot of juice!
Also, when I got out of bed a few minutes ago I could barely stand lol. I overdid my workout yesterday. I also had burned 243 calories not 200 as I had previously thought. I ended my day with 13 calories in the positive
The app is a little discouraging though. It gives you a message about your progress when you finish logging for the day 'If every day is like today, you will weigh 127 pounds in 5 weeks'. Ugh. Seriously? I'll lose only 3 pounds?

I wussed out last night. I only jumped rope for 3 minutes I just could not do any more than that. Then I dictated a chapter and went to bed at 11:30. It took me a while to fall asleep, but when I did I was pretty much dead for the night.
I'll take my walk this evening, but I'm going to try to avoid the jump rope for the day and give my ankle time to recover.

Yet another rant is that I'm going to be gone from Tuesday to Friday or Saturday next week. I've been getting in some great habits for a change and I'm worried about the disruption in my routine.

      **EDIT**
I found my new pedometer. It was in a drawer I had looked in at least a dozen times last night
I just finished measuring my stride. hehehe, no wonder I always leave most fellow walkers in the dust. I have a long stride for a woman: 28.6 inches. Most women measure 24 and most men measure 30. I even retook my measurements and I had consistent results...

      ***EDIT***
I unexpectedly received back child support today. I bought myself a pair of tennis shoes, socks, arch support insoles, a new fanny pack, and 2 pairs of leggings that were on super sale. I actually went to a shoe store for the shoes and asked for assistance in picking them out. I also picked out insoles there but when we went to check out the insoles were $40. !!! Ugh, no thanks lol. I got a pair at Walmart for $10. instead. They're not as good but they should be good enough.
I'm very happy with my purchases. The shoes were $50- the cheapest ones the store had lol But they're more comfortable than Wal-marts selection... and just as comfortable as the couple expensive pairs I tried on at the shoe store.
      Yay me

or... boo me. My shoes aren't cutting it. Or I need better insoles. I took my 45 minute walk with the dog and came home with the bottoms of my toes aching. I figured I'd get blisters, no biggy. I hopped into the shower and as I was washing my feet I was shocked. I have blood blisters on my third toes
My toes are weird. Even with minimal walking, the bottoms of my toes (especially the third ones) get sort of "v" shaped callouses on them. In the past, I just slip them off with nail clippers. Now that I'm becoming active though, callouses can be a good thing. I've not messed with my feet for several months.
Why my third toe? Is there a problem with my strides? The toe next to my big toes are about 1 cm longer, so does that cause weird rubbing on the third

Anyhow... I think the shoes might be a tad too big. I went with a size 8 originally, but the guy talked me into getting an 8 1/2- which was perfect with the insoles. But without them? Not so much.

I'm not necessarily a jerk but if I'm not really feeling any genuine feelings then I'm not going to be very thoughtful or considerate (I just won't care very much). If I'm thoughtful and considerate, I lose the attraction. Both genders are wired to pursue what appears above their level, so girls seem to want to win affection. If it's easily received, it makes them think they're playing below their league.

I think this has happened too many times to be based on luck.
That makes sense.... Ugh I typed out a response to this the other day but it got deleted before I was done with post, and I'm typing this on my phone.... The point of what I said though was that the general dom/sub patterns that our genders are naturally inclined to trend toward (there are of course always exceptions) probably play a role as well. I know that kind of sounds like saying the same thing, but how I mean it is in that jerkiness could be misconstrued as caring by some ironic twist of nature. The reason I say that is because I don't think it would be too absurd to suggest that our animal brains probably evolved more to pick up on emotion than on language, and so a dominant attitude could of course be picked up from someone who is either a jerk or just confident because they're not nervous around you due to lack of interest. On the other hand, being too nice comes off as submissive. But it's important to remember that you can be both dominant and nice.... What I can say for sure is that the most attractive guys to me are the ones who are truly both considerate and a bit cocky. Of course, if that's not your thing then you're going to have to find a girl who wants a submissive guy, and they do exist, but if that's your case then it's not as surprising that you just don't connect with people as easily.... I'm glad you see it that way too. Yes, join us. Somehow.... Probably my favorite part is the lack of emotional translating. Pretty much everything is just easily understood by default. :3

Not sure what you mean by that.
It means I like cock. But that's okay, because she does too. Lol, the female/female thing is just so much easier and more fun for me. I just have this pesky burning desire for male companionship that keeps bugging me. Honestly I care less and less the deeper into our psychedelic love soup I get though. Nothing could possibly compare to what I get from her.

Neither, email. I got a smart phone but it epically failed to send you an international text, it kept adding "1-555-" in front of your number. You should tell me what that app is again though....

hehee, I *knew* that was your "other" need, Aly If I had chosen a different religious path, I'd be gay. Women, IMHE, offer better companionship than men. Women tend to be more emotionally in tune and open as well as expressive.
I might as well be a nun as it is. I haven't had sex in ??? 5 years at least? He started denying me soon after I picked up smoking again. (He likes to try to guilt me by saying my smoking is why he denies me but I know it's actually thanks to ED and his blood pressure meds. But he feels better blaming me, so I let him )

Ugh... my rant is that I'm exhausted, sore and sick. I went for my walk this morning, despite the blood blisters. And I walked further than usual. It's been my goal to reach the train tracks. We made it today which is a huge rave... but at what cost? The blood blister on my right toe is bigger now and it has a common but huge blister on the toe beside it. I CANNOT slow down now that I've started. If I do, I'll give up. But boy my feet hurt!!!!

Last night I did a lot of google searching and I discovered I get "pinch" calluses and blisters. The "v"'s are wedges caused by neighboring toes pressing down in the blistered toe. I concluded that there's nothing wrong with my shoes. My toes just scrunch together in them so I'll buy some wedges or toe socks and if that doesn't help, I'll tape the toes. It doesn't happen in sandals because they're open toed but there's still a strip across the top of the toes to help keep them in line. I'd give up on tennis shoes and just wear my sandals, but I need the ankle support.

I'm also ranting because I'm a blind idiot I stooped under some branches beside our driveway on the way home.... and took a sawed branch right between my eyes. I'm raving that I didn't poke one of my eyes out, but I have a mark from the center of my forehead to the bridge of my nose I only have a tiny spot of blood on my nose, the rest just looks like a minor abrasion.

I'm nauseous because I got overheated. I need to learn to carry and drink water during my walks. They're not even hour long walks, so I figured I could just wait until I get back home. Today has taught me otherwise.

hehe, yeah.... it was hard at first, but I only truly crave sex a couple times a month so it's all good

My rant is a sad one. I just got home from my sons counseling and on the pathway was a baby chipmunk. It's eyes were still closed, it was cool to the touch and it was making sucking motions. My kittens had gotten ahold of it. On the porch steps were the remains of its family (not recognizable ). I brought the baby in to see if I could do anything for it but nope. It had a large laceration between its hind leg and into its stomach. I put the poor dear out of its misery which I hated doing but it seemed more humane. That's the only thing I hate about having "farm" cats. They're great mousers, but the process isn't always quick and painless
I wonder where the chipmunks are coming from. I used to only see them VERY occasionally around out neighbors wood pile. But they've migrated to our yard somewhere. I've been seeing them more frequently (usually after a cat's gotten it).

A rave is that I picked up more feet stuff from Walmart earlier. I got these sleeves which are mostly used for corns. It has gel on one side of it. They feel wonderful! Then I got toe bandages which I haven't tried yet and when I couldn't find any toe socks I bought a pack of spacers. They're surprisingly comfortable. I didn't think I'd be able to tolerate them, but they're actually very nice.

Oh yeah. Another rant is that my pedometer doesn't work properly. It said my walk to and from the tracks was only .7 miles. I checked it with my car and it's exactly 1 mile ONE way. So, I've been walking nearly 2 miles every day this week. Which is much better than I thought I was doing! But no wonder I have blisters. I went from moving as far as my seat to the car for the last several years to walking nearly 2 miles a day. I'm very pleased with myself, blisters be damned

You just get me, Zhay. That's definitely been my experience so far too. I really can't say enough good things about this dynamic. We're really just completely on the same wavelength about pretty much everything, and it's extremely easy to adjust to each other's needs because we just talk about our feelings all the time. We also pretty much always know the right things to say to each other in the good times and the bad, and so far we've always managed to keep our cool. It's great....

Heh, I'm not sure how I would feel about that yet. But I've been going through some odd thoughts lately as I've been thinking about why I even want sex in the first place. I'll say this though.... I doubt anything physical could ever come even close to topping the shared out-of-body experiences she and I have together.

yeh, lol. Let's make a sex club. And you don't even know what you're missing, can you imagine.

Turned 20 two days ago, so that's nice. School is going well, haven't smoked any weed the past 25 days, and 21 before that. But yeah like Anju said, I'm craving sex right now.

I think the theme is actually that we aren't having sex, haha. I'm at least certainly not in any physical way, hence the unfortunate "other" needs.... My companion and I just get a similar form of gratification from tripping. I prefer orgasmic sensations induced by psychedelics and nitrous oxide to any physical stimulation.

      lol, what a weird name!

My rant is urethra discomfort. I ran out of cranberry pills a couple weeks ago and I felt a difference after a couple of days. But this feels like a pinched nerve (?). It's very uncomfortable to say the least!!!! (It doesn't burn when I pee or anything like that... it's a pinch feel between my pelvic bone and belly button).
So, I'm drinking even more water to see if that helps. I'll pick up more cranberry pills this weekend.

Other than that, it's a lazy day. It's raining out so I've not been on my walk yet.

      **EDIT**
I don't know what the discomfort is. I just looked it up and the female urethra is actually very short. I just assumed that was it. If I pinch my belly button, I get the same sensation as well as an urgency to pee. It's always been that way lol. I just assumed the urethra traveled the "beaver trail" to the belly button and somewhere along the way branched to the bladder This discomfort is going to annoy me even more so now What the heck is it from?

      ***EDIT***
Ugh... My waist line may be in danger. Hubby brought home some left over cake that a patient gave the Office. I thought I would pass it on to the kids. Typically, I love the cake but the icing is too sweet so I scrape it all off. I took a bite of this and was transported to 16 years ago when I used to buy single cupcakes whenever I went shopping. Sure enough, the cake comes from the same store: Kroger. Hubby thinks they use lard in the icing? I don't know but it's thicker- almost like cream cheese? And it's sweet, but not overpoweringly so. My kids aren't even going to know I have this cake It's amazing!
... I just went to the store on-line and it seems the only icings they use are "buttercreme" and "whippy". I wonder which one it is that I love so much...
