Today's shift was elementary school children only...it took nearly all my patience to stop me from punching a hole through the table. I teach them basic maths operations and they forget what I said 5 seconds ago.

Hello again. I'm just here to bitch about how much homework SUCKS and all I want to do is build houses on The Sims 3 and hide all day long inside my house with my son. I've got a stupid government test today. The so-called "professor" of this class is pretty much tech-retarded. His powerpoint is more confusing than helpful and he seems to be talking about EVERYTHING but what's actually in the book that we had to buy. Supposedly we're between chapters 5 and 7 but none of his quizzes make sense. Gah, I'm sure he's a nice guy but damn, he should really quit the online class shit. It IS his first semester teaching online, but hey, they should at least train their teachers how to USE a freaking powerpoint.

My creative writing teacher has failed me too. Where I thought she was considerate and personable with her very small amount of critique, I realize now she's just nice and it doesn't matter what you write, she will give you an A. That's not so bad, and I already expected this class to be pretty easy but she doesn't give feedback at all. We submit our stories and assignments, she gives us credit and then at the end of a unit we upload our shit for our classmates to critique but we NEVER get direct feedback from the teacher. Isn't that kind of screwy? I mean it's a writing class, she should participate in the workshop area at least.

Well that's my school rant. You know, I went into this semester thinking Biology would kill me, but I actually found out that I actually really enjoy that class. My teacher is just awesome though. Very nice and really really good for only his second semester teaching college classes. (he's cute too, sue me.)

On a side note, just for laughs.

Last night, I was using an aspirator to clean out my son's nose before bed (poor baby has a bad cold). Well surprisingly he didn't fuss and actually let me stick it up there. I accidently poked him in the upper nostirl area lol. He cried for just a second and then he grabbed the aspirator out of my hand and tried to shove it up my nose. haha.

My little guy already knows how to avenge himself. He's 18 months. It was a good laugh.

I haven't been able to fall asleep the last two nights. And the last two nights, I haven't had any alcohol... for someone who claims to not be much of a drinker, I have been drinking pretty often. Not a lot, but every night I have 1-3 drinks. Hmm. Might be a sign? Suppose I should cut back.

I'll be running on about 4 hours of sleep for today. Hopefully I make it till midnight when I get home for the day. I'm already feeling pretty crappy. Even when I first woke up, I felt wide awake and dead-tired at the same time.

I go to my Biology lab, it's the last lab and then the practical is next week.

There's a bottle of lube on the table....

I'm thinking, "wtf are we going to do in this lab?" We do some weird and funny shit like having to gag to test our breathing and putting things in our mouth like we just don't care anymore.

And one of the subjects had to put it on their foreheads....LOL WUT?!?!!??! So I basically think it's anal lube until I realize other lab tables don't have that label.


I completely fell for a joke that some silly head probably did in previous labs...........I wonder if the person who set up the lab even paid attention to things like that.

I tried to keep quiet about the anal lube thing, but my lab partner to the left knew about it already.

And one of the girls saw it too, so she decides to put me on the spot and asks,


"So it was you who put this on here....you BAD BOY"

I knew she was joking, but it just made things awkward for me.

My rant: I couldn't sleep last night. I don't even recall what time I crashed this morning (I've gotten out of the habit of keeping my log ), but the sun was just starting to come up.
Then I slept til noon. I had a pop tart, Coke and Water for breakfast, watched Hulu, played Facebook games, just couldn't find any energy.
But at 2, I made myself get up and do some laundry. I have one load hanging up outside and another load in the wash. So, I'll probably get 3 loads done today.

Then I went into the RV and grabbed a very long extension cord I remembered seeing in there. I put a couple nails above my door so it would be next to my computer instead of me having to droop the cords across the doorway.
My temple hurts more than usual. It's uncomfortable to even brush my hair back with my fingers at the area. WTH?
Now I need to clean off the desk where my comp used to be and dust the top portion. I need to clean the birds' cage. I have no idea where I'm going to find the energy to get it all finished lol

Well that was the closest I ever came to a premonition dream in my life. Lat night I dreamed that the young kids weren't released from school because the police were trying to catch some old pervert that was hanging around the school. I didn't know the kids were going to be released late, so i ran to the school in a panic. It was super scary because I saw a bunch of other kids (the older kids) walking home. But no Chris. Then I figured out what had happened and all was well.

So TODAY, in real life, Chris was late. Not 10 fucking minutes after I posted that dream in the share-your-dream thread wtf?! So in a panic I rush to the school. And again I see all the other kids walking home, but no Chris. Finally I get to the school and I see Chris burst out the door towards me. Of course by then I had already caught 10 strokes and 10 heart-attacks. But I was glad he was alright. So I asked why he was late, and he said it was because he had to go to the office because some kid had tried to kiss him. Are you fucking kidding me. So I grabbed his arm and marched right into the office and saw Chris's teacher. The school counselor was on the phone and the other kid was there, talking to his parents. She looked at me kinda pissed off like, and said "I'm on the phone and you need to wait outside." To which I replied "OH GOOD, THAT MEANS YOUR PHONE WORKS. YOU WANT TO TRY AND GIVE ME A CALL NEXT TIME YOU'RE GOING TO KEEP MY SON AFTER SCHOOL?!" And I stomped out. Chris's teacher followed me out and said what had happened. The kid, Devon had tried to kiss him. So Chris called him gay (oops.) The good news is then Chris's best friend Jordan started calling him gay too. Good as in, backing Chris up like that. But then Devon started giving everyone arm burns who called him gay. This kid actually tried bullying Chris earlier in the year, so for that, I'm glad the kids ganged up on him. But I explained to Chris that next time, go straight to the teacher. Shouting "Gay" just made everything worse for everyone. I'm guessing that Devon is an abused child at home. Now instead of getting into trouble for trying to kiss Chris, he's going to be in trouble for hurting the other kids, which wouldn't have happened if Chris hadn't shouted the word gay. Crazy day.

But the DREAM wtf. This kid is slowly killing me.

Ok this is a gamer rant but OH BOIIII, its a big one! Im right now having an epic nostalgia attack - This rush of knowing,there is a great game out there just waiting to be played again.Every piece of music fills your heart with memories from days gone by.

You know it by heart and each encounter unlocks another piece of memory that has been waiting in some corner of your mind...

But then you realize....

You don't own it! FUUUUU-

Make that 40 hours with no sleep, nor feeling of tiredness. Damn it.

My eyes hurt, my face hurts. I'm really tired and have little motivation. Dinner is going to be brought home. Just one of those days.

Sigh. Just... sigh. I've learned more about the kid I sent the netbook to and his living conditions in the past couple days than I have since I first met him. And it's all downhill from what you've already heard. I'm trying to convince him to call up child protection services. He's afraid to be at home because he's worried about physical abuse, but apparently it's not that bad, or that's how he tries to backpedal and paint it. And apparently even the cops are on his mother's side. He really shouldn't be staying at home anymore... he just doesn't fully admit it because he doesn't know what growing up in a healthy environment is really like. I'd hoped this mentality that beating your kids was okay had died out some 40 years ago... apparently not.

I'm too worn out from all this to even be visibly angry now... I'm going to be so jaded when this is all over.

Anti-rant time: I just walked around the field etc for almost an hour. I took the dogs with me. This was the first time I've ever really walked Snuffanuff. I found a regular leash and the first 1/2 lap (out of 3) was a little tough. I kept yanking on the leash telling him "Nyut!" to get him to slow down and walk beside me. I'm amazed how easy it was to get him to listen and how eager he was to please. There's a culvert beside the house and I even told him "up" and directed the leash and he ran across it, right beside me
I kept stopping to look around for Cocoa, but she was always right behind us. Meesha, on the other hand I need to get her a leash next. She kept running in front of me and during the last lap, she grabbed Snuffanuff's leash that was hanging down and she tried "walking" him too

BUT, I'm already sore. Especially the arm that kept yanking him.
