Lizards in the States are almost impossible to catch. I only caught one- a racer in Pensacola, Florida. |

I live in California, and there are lizards all over the place this time of year. I've actually caught and released 3 of them this summer so far. I used to keep them in an empty aquarium tank when I was little. Fun stuff. |

I caught one! and no kentucky isn't that cold in the SUMMER. there aren't that many here though. in my week of searching I've only found 2. right now the temperature is fit for them. it's so hot my mom won't let me go outside. although this is the PERFECT temperature for lizard hunting. but I also found three dead birds walking to school this morning. it's really depressing. poor little guys. |

nice catch. are you still catching lizards or what are you doing out there in Kentucky? |

I used to be the master at catching lizards when I was a kid. But now I don't becasue I respect them and I don't want to scare them or hurt them. |

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake
I sometimes catch frogs in my backyard, during the summer, in the early morning, there's usually 15-30 frogs in my pool. You have to scoop them out, or they die. And once there was a dead mouse/rat in my pool. |

if i find a lizard I try to catch it,I know I could probably lure a wild rabbit but my mother would NEVER let me do that. I keep finding the same little guy near my house. He hasn't found the way back to where I found him. I can tell it's him because a piece of his tail is missing. if I find him again i'm taking him to one of the huge empty burrows in my backyard. I've checked them both times of the day. nothing lives in them. We frogs here way less than we get lizards. |
