Two days ago I was at an airport in Amsterdam. A man came into the bathroom there, drew forth his camera and snapped a picture of one of the urinals on the wall. He inspected the picture on his camera, and left the bathroom looking mightily pleased with himself. As I was witnessing this spectacle, the above question struck me. "Really, what won't people take pictures of?". I suggest we solve this mystery by way of deduction. Therefore I ask you, ladies and gentlemen, to post the strangest things you've seen photographed. My guess is he wanted to freak some dude out who would then go on the internetz and post a long rant about the stupid shit people take pictures of. He would then later conduct a google search for "guy took picture of urinal" and quantify the results. Alternatively, he swiftly swiveled the camera sideways and took a picture of your junk.

LOL how do you come to that conclusion? Probably because it's a fairly reasonable deduction. Health inspectors/quality inspectors (I don't know the appropriate term) do happen to exist, it would further be logical that they do take photos for quality purposes. How can you not factor something like that into the equation.

I tend to want to take pictures of morbid things. Things which most people would consider offensive. People like taking pictures of happy events so that they can keep the memories. I just like to remember events, whether happy or sad. For example, I have a picture of my cat with a dead mouse. The strangest one: After my brother had a certain incident involving cutting his wrist on glass, after everyone had left for the hospital, I took some pictures of the splattered blood. I know it sounds pretty bad. I never told any family members about that.
