DreamViews is Shutting Down For Good

Heart stopped for a few seconds when I first red this.... phew..... time to catch my breath!
1. How would you truly feel?
Um.... try destroyed!! Dream views is my most trusted site with my most prized possession, my dreams!! Well... my memory of them I guess... Its the only site I use (or know of) where I can have my dreams safely kept for a lifetime of revisiting. Keeping my dreams on dreamviews also acts as my motivation to keep at my lucid attempts. It acts as a little trophy for me to go back to and marvel over my astral accomplishments.
2. If upset, how long would it take you to get over it?
I am not to sure that I would. I have WAYYYYY to many dreams saved on here that I dont think I would ever want to part with. Plus this is my go to site when I want any tips for lucids or just to explore anything to do with dreaming. This site is really nicely set up, I am not sure what the competition has to offer but I am really comfortable with the format here.
3. Would you find a replacement site to pass your time?
I would try... I would try really hard, but I am not confident in what my success might be.. =(
4. What about dreamviews would you miss the most? Name them.
-Tutorials
-MY DREAM LOG!!!
-Reading every ones dreams and interesting experiences
-All the great info and insight that this site has offered me!!

icedawg started this site as a project for school in 2001. He added the forum in 2003. He eventually sold the site.

Probably best that it goes away. Life goes on but little minded forums die. Better that way. :-)

Haha yep. Louie is our residential senior citizen. There's a lot of knowledge and history of this site creaking in his bones. xD Find an active member with a join date of 2003 and you've found someone who literally witnessed the big bang.

I'll be a little distraught being that this is a cool place to come and chill and the conversations are always a huge benefit.

Was curious. If DV's shut down for good, there will be a DV's (2) that will rise through the ashes I'm pretty sure.

Meh, disappointed for sure.

Dunno, a relatively short period of time <2 days, since it's not like me to mourn over anything like this.

Already have a gazillion, but this is the one that would be the most difficult one to replace, if not impossible.

2. I don't know. My personality prevents me from lingering in things gone away. Considering I have lost a lot more than forum and these little but interesting ties to wonderful people ( means most of you, my dear ravens ) there.
3. Not probably. I came here first time out of curiosity to see that there are actually this much people like me.
4. The people and the willingness to sacrifice this much of their own time and money to share knowledge and let us exchange our opinions.
5. I was quite curious. Other half of me saw that it was started by jeff and something little inside my brain started to suspect...
