If you're in a steady relationship for any amount of time, having sex hundreds of times is not that crazy. I don't think he was trying to brag or anything.

Exactly. In fact, I made it a point to stress that I've only been with 7 women, so it wouldn't seem like I was trying to brag or that I'm trying to paint myself as some kind of playboy.

Unfortunately, some people interpret things according to their own insecurities.

My love life summed up:

I had 4 lovers from the ages of 17-c. 24 (unless you count childhood experimentation, then it would bring the total up to 8 from age 5 and date rape would bring it up to 9 and molestation to 10, inappropriate fondling by an adult:12)
Then I hit a really rough patch in my life and I had..... about 7 partners in 3 months time, no, 8. The sad thing is, I can't even remember all of their names But not all of it was intercourse (same goes for the above).

I've been with 1 person since 1998, but............
We've not had sex for... well, it will be 1 year in November. :sad:
I told my hubby tonight I was going to have to find a boy toy if something didn't change soon (of course, I said it jokingly, but I'm *almost* serious).
We don't even cuddle for crying out loud.

All together, I've been in 5 relationships- married twice.

So many of your life stories make me sad.

But, my experiences molded me into who I am today. And for the most part (despite what my brain tries to tell me sometimes), I think I'm a pretty good person.

Possibly a thousand times. 11 men. No girls yet. One relationship in college that lasted almost 4 years. After that, things get complicated. Hopefully nearing the end of a few year drought.

14 Out of all of them, two were really serious, and one of them slept with my best friend at the time. Everything else just got kinda weird. Been on a five year drought, but I've gone on plenty of dates in that time frame. Just haven't met that one.

Zhaylin, you need to get some! Tie your husband down and force feed him some Viagra or something.

But we don't live in the same house (we're next door neighbors so to speak). He's never had need of viagra despite his age (he's 30 years my senior). It's more a comfort and OCD thing for him. Plus, I smoke and I'm too heavyset for his personal preferences, so no effort is made on his part.

And because of the meds I take (and general difficulty my whole "active" life) ........... lets just say (for the sake of the minors) that I'm not completely happy with the whole thing anyhow, which means I don't make as much effort as I could.
We've fallen into a rut of convenience and I hate it.

My lovelife does not and has not ever existed. Contrary to what I may have implied before on this forum, I am still a virgin and have never kissed a girl. The irony is that I have been asked out by girls before, get hit on on a fairly regular basis, and I even downright picked a gorgeous woman (around four years older than me) up once. I just won't be with someone I'm not attracted to. I'd rather be alone. And I don't know why, but I'm really not attracted to the vast majority of girls that I come across, including many of the pretty ones.

Many have come and gone.

There were three of them; ones I tried really hard with. The good times were beautiful, but for one reason or things always to a messy end.

There have been others with whom I tried very little...which was great, but often short-lived in my experience.

It's hard to give a straight answer, because love [to me] is all over the place most of the time.


So, let's just say it feels distant a lot of the time.

I'm falling in love with a God. I've had feelings before, rarely, yet I've never actually felt like this. I didn't realize one person can change the way you see the colors in the sky and the way the air smells. I didn't realize that such an exquisite lightness of heart can exist. But mostly, I didn't realize you could meet a complete dream in the real world. and with a single glance, they could rearrange your whole life.

what are the chances of meeting perfection, seriously this never fucking happens. but meeting this perfect person, and they are actually interested in you? I mean, not to put myself down or anything, but what's a mortal against god. ha ha ha.

I don't really know how to articulate my feelings, but they're unbelievable, ethereal, otherworldly, and I thought they only existed in the highest forms of poetry.
