I don't even know what to think, I've read so much contradicting shit about it.

113.3980925 grams equals one quarter pound. Think of a cheeseburger patty at a fast food restaurant.

Of course, a lot of that is water, but it helps the mind wrap itself around the problem.

A quarter pound hamburger patty has 21.08 grams of protein in it, approximately.


So, 50 grams of protein would be like eating the meat in a Big Mac.




Does that help put it into perspective?

You need to eat alot of protein if you are trying to build muscle. But you have to work your way up to more and more I guess. Your body can only handle so much at first and you will be sore and worn out but if you keep at it you build endurance and can work out more and take in more protein >_>

That's not a very good way to put it.
They use pure whey protein, no fat or sugar etc.

Nah, I'm sure people have taken more than 400g a day. But it doesn't mean it's healthy.
