You could always try standing on a street corner? |

A job is a good staple, but it's hardly the end of the pursuit regarding making money, in my opinion. At least for me, my goal is to eventually move beyond the need for a job, but I'm sort of in a catch-22 unless I somehow learn how to stomach eating garbage and sleeping under bridges. |

Learn how to count cards with a trusted friend or relative. It's not hard and if you keep a low profile you can earn quite a bit of money. |
|
You could spend a bit of time learning to day trade stocks. It takes a bit to practice and perfect but it definitely can pay off depending on how much you invent. |

Well first you can start by asking people on various forums around the Internet for ideas on ways to make money . |

I had the farmer's market idea in mind too. Coz I wanna buy a big plot of land soon really cheap, and be self-sustaining. But still have a bit of money for things I can't build and property taxes etc. |

If I had to make money without a "job," I'd probably try selling shit on ebay. Probably drums, since I'm pretty knowledgeable in that field. |

Depends on where you are, in vegas they use six decks, in atlantic city they use four usually I believe. But I'm talking about smaller venues. Even if there are two decks you can still calculate your chances, you just need one or two wingmen to be constantly counting at tables so you know when to come in. |
|
And then they throw you out coz the dealer was counting too. |

Invest, my apologies. |

Now can you please explain the graph above kind sir for the sake of those who are not so good at analyzing stocks (or at least never thought of it as an option). |

Just play online poker! I made quite a lot of money on those tables, but make sure you know how bankroll management works, and be atleast a little bit good at 'basic' math. Once ur good enough just multi-table your way up. I wouldn't trow away your job for it though. Just remember that in the short run you may lose some money cause of bad luck, but in the long run you will always win. (If done correctly ) |

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.
It's best to have failure happen early in life. It wakes up the Phoenix bird in you so you rise from the ashes.
This is totally possible, even in Vegas where they use multiple decks. I've studied it a little bit, but haven't played in a while. The idea is learning the optimum black jack strategy, then counting cards gives you more of an edge. With good strategy and card counting, even with multiple decks, you should do better than chance and at least make some modest winnings. Casinos aren't going to notice a single person counting cards on one night unless they are really winning a lot of money. Even then, you would be able cycle through a few different casinos before you are black listed from all. By then your earnings should be significant enough anyway. |

Yeah, nobody on this website is going to make money by being card counters. They will lose the $120.43 cents they have to their name. |

I'm definitely more interested in an artistic route. As much as I'd love to rip off a casino or too, I don't see it as a very realistic option. While art won't give me the millions right away that the stock market or card counting could provide, it's also something I could find much more fulfillment in. I'm writing a novel and working on a video game, these are long-term projects that will hopefully provide the income I need to do some serious investing and get my dreams in motion. In the meantime I need a supplemental income and I want to start working on building the foundation for the lifestyle I want to lead. No major in college could provide an occupation that would give me the fulfillment I seek, so I can't escape the idea that I work a dead-end job by going back to school. Though I do intend to get a Master's, this is not a career based motivation. |

I'm planning on taking the English-teaching route. The demand for English training is going up and up, it just happens to be in places that most people are less and less interested in going to, which is a win-win for me. I'm going to start off in Mexico, and I might just stay there forever if it turns out I got it right on the first try. |

Music can pay pretty well if you go and busk in the right place. |

yep, I think that's the standard assumption. I was looking at Disney China and they wanted only people who spoke Chinese, but I haven't seen anywhere else that has that expectation. |

Not at all. My dad subscribes to this site called TradeSmartU and I learn from there. There are 4 categories of videos to learn from, and each category is like 20 hours long. The graph was just used to prove my point that analyzing stocks isn't easy. You all have what you need to invest, now go my children. |
