I've been away for a few days - well, more than a few, but I have pictures for you all!

She hasn't yet received it, but doesn't know about it, so the surprise is being upheld!

That being said, I've finished everything from my last post. I've got a biiiig list of things that I'd like to do between now and when I die, so I'll simply post the short-term goals to this topic, so I might actually finish them.

Well done, Armistice. I'm nothing special in the physical sense, so anything you've got is a better time than what I'd get!
And Zhaylin, that's one strict schedule to stick to. Disincentive for missing a day seems overly harsh for you, but so long as you avoid that I'm sure you'll be fine. Hang in there.

      Goals for Clyde:
      - Record a cover of Mayday Parade's "When I Get Home You're So Dead". (See below for original.)
      - Do assignment for class before midnight tomorrow.

And that's all I've got right now.
I've already done all of the instruments for the song, now for the mixing part (where you adjust levels and settings so the instruments sound balanced and so each one sounds the way I want them to), and then I record vocals. For the first time. Ever. It'll be interesting.

      WOOT, the both of you!

Love the box, Clyde. The song was surprising. It's not my usual genre but I like it anyhow

As for me... school sucks. It's a LOT different than when I went to school The classrooms are so much noisier, disruptive and disrespectful.
I was "yelled at" by a sub today. My oldest daughter got called to the office of the Officer and I went with her. When we got to the door to leave the classroom, he told us to stop and asked which one of us "girls" was actually supposed to go. I told him who I was and he said he thought I was a student. All I could say was "thank you" My daughter was caught with smokes again last Friday which is another $165. fine. He told her he feels sorry for me. She was a crab-ass all day because she and her sister didn't get to bed until after I did at 1:30AM *sigh*
I do like the teachers though and their hands on approach to teaching. Students just shout out ideas or responses which seems the norm. I'm not used to that but it seems to work for the most part.

My only goal for today is to try to get my grocery money from hubby a day early. We need dinner and lunch would be nice tomorrow. I'm slipping into my old habits of fast food but at least I'm making healthier selections (grilled shrimp, veggies and rice from Long John's; Salad from Sheetz), except for today. I only had $5. so I got a side of mashed potatoes and a side of coleslaw from KFC. I mix them together and it really hit the spot

I'm VERY sick with a chest cold and sore throat. I'm smoking more cigarettes because it doesn't seem to irritate my lungs as much as the e-cig. But I'm still only at 1/2 pack a day.
I'm VERY thankful my p-doc had Provigil for me. It's the only way I'm staying awake.
And while I'm in class, I'm transcribing a religious book onto my iPad. I've gotten about 4 chapters done in 2 days.

Glad you enjoyed the song. I didn't consider doing a cover of it until last night I listened to it again and remembered how powerful it is as a song, and as an expression of the writer. I'm pretty nervous at the idea of recording myself singing it due to the simple fact that I'm no singer, but I'm determined to complete this.

Yes, high schools today are very disruptive and disrespectful. That's why I love college so much, among other reasons. Where I'm from my alma mater is one of the best in the state, academically and financially, so incidents of students shouting their thoughts during the actual teacher-teaching-students sessions never occurred that I can remember. Aaaand you got that cold from me. Had it a few days ago, lasted three days total. Sorry.

lol InvisibleWoman Eating is VERY important to maintain life
But, yeah, I have the same trouble sometimes.

Blast it all, Clyde. I'm STILL sick. I really wish you hadn't shared this crud with me lol
Only now, it's migrated to my ears and I'm running a fever. Whenever I pop my ears, they never pop completely, then I have an echo in my head until they clear on their own.
I REALLY wish I didn't have to go to school!!!!!!

I feel like a Cougar sometimes A kid in my oldest daughters class, yesterday told me he liked my bandanna, then my necklace, then he mimicked an old woman pinching cheeks and said I was so cute he just wants to take me home with him lol Then again, what would you expect from the class clown?
My youngest daughter has one of her friends do her history class work and homework. I was surprised that the teacher knew that and did nothing about it except light-heartedly nag them. That was considered cheating when I went to school and I would have been suspended for trying something like that.

I went grocery shopping this evening, took the food to my sons at the Farm. Then I stopped at another store and got food for my daughters and I. My youngest son (16 years old) loved the Farm and refuses to leave. My oldest son (18) would prefer to be in Town at the Trailer, but my 16 year old isn't staying by himself so he's stuck there. The girls and I are going to be in town, for the most part, until this truancy nonsense is over (December 22) because I can't afford the gas to drive to the schools every day from the Farm.
      I'm exhausted.
I can't normally fall asleep before 1AM, then I'm up at 6:30. I rarely recall my dreams anymore (lol, it sounds like I've been doing this for months instead of just 3 days. I'm such baby).

      My goals tomorrow:
Get through the day. Nothing more.
Oh! I do have to call the stupid phone company and tell them to just cancel us. They never have gotten us hooked up.

Goal for today: Finish my AP chem lab. [x]

Goal for tomorrow: Get through my AP chem test. [ ]

My life revolves around chemistry right now because it's so fast paced and difficult to grasp the concepts. The fact that I'm only 16 years old and am already taking a university course doesn't make it any better!

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Did assignment, snuck it in 4 minutes before deadline. XD But hey, I got it in, error-free and everything.

Now to work on the song, try out Ubuntu Studio 10.10 (very excited for it), and find a way to make up to Zhaylin for giving that condition to her....

      YAY Puffin and Clyde!

Thanks for the hug I'm FEELING much better as far as the cough goes. My nose is always running and whenever I blow it, it feels like I'm going to pop my right eye lol
And I'm obsessing over a weird rash I have that's mostly on the right side of my body (mostly my arm and stomach). I'm SURE it's from the fiberglass I installed whenever it was.

Tomorrow is THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! for a week. My daughters are staying with friends for part of it (starting tomorrow) so I'm going to enjoy some seriously overdue R&R.

Other than that, I need to clean out the birds cage and stand again and I must clean my bedroom.
I still need to call the phone company and cancel. I need to motivate hubby into giving me $5,000. sooner rather than later to pay off Court fines and overdue old child support. If there's anything left, I'm going to look into getting a new XBox with Kinect and a game or two. But, shush, hubby doesn't have to know that part I have to get my 15 year old some more jeans and a winter coat before we do anything else with the extras though.

      **EDIT**
Gotta love Google. I researched fiberglass rash and it seems that even my cold/flu/whatever was probably made worse from my exposure (inhaling particles and such). For the outside of me, lol, I can treat the rash with good ole' fingernail polish remover which "melts" the fiberglass particles and apparently provides almost instant relief. SO, a goal for tomorrow is to buy some and then bathe in the stuff

I made it through yet another day
My couch is a million times better but part of me wishes it would return just a little. Yesterday I was coughing up green phlegm which is a warning that antibiotics may be needed. I woke up this morning though with hardly any rasping and what I call a dry and unproductive cough. When I feel the rasping in my lungs, it's harder to cough the gunk up. But when I do, it's clear. So things are looking up.
I haven't talked to hubby yet, so I've not gone to the store yet for the things I need to rid myself of my rash. I'm too tired to go anywhere right now anyhow. I couldn't sleep last night so I'm REALLY dragging.
BUT my daughters are gone for the weekend (*woohoo*!!!) I'm enjoying my peace

My goals, simplified: get money from hubby, maybe go to store tonight. Finish eating my lunch (Hardees's) for my dinner. Go to sleep

lol Salty. Now THAT sounds like a good goal

I only accomplished eating yesterday, so I'll carry yesterday's goals over to today plus add:
BUY FLEA SPRAY and bombs. There are no animals in the trailer and hasn't been for many months (except for when the cats crawled through the AC vents inside). But now that the ducting is fixed and the furnace is turned on and the trailer is actually warm, these God forsaken blood suckers are taking over the place.
I didn't notice how bad they were getting because I have a high tolerance and I ALWAYS sit with my legs tucked under me instead of on the floor. I'm noticing them now though. When walking to the bathroom, 20+ of the little buggers hitch a ride. They can't seem to jump above the seat of my chair so they're not driving me too batty just yet. And for some reason, they don't tend to bother me when I'm on my bed (a blow up mattress on the floor).
      UGH...

THrew away 50 photography mags and 25-30 off road mags. I would suggest never counting them and figuring out the worth of the collection. My phot mags are $14 per, so I jsut threw away $336, lol

Also got rid of about 10 shirts. 2 were getting ratty, the rest are too small, or don't wear. One shirt is easily about 15yrs old, haha, but I rarely wore it, so it still looks great

Finished a 2pg essay for academy. The best essay gets read at graduation I hope and not hope it's me, lol

      Now to fill out applications

Accomplishments: Had dinner with my mother. Went with the flow. Got some sleep. Warped time somehow.

      WTG Armistice!
lol Acatalephobic. Can you teach me how to warp time?

I have been accomplishing NOTHING. I am STILL sick, so I've been living off Tussin DM. It's supposed to be non-drowsy but it still knocks me out. I've been sleeping about 20 hours a day for the last couple of days.
I'm taking 5000 IU of D3, 1000 mg Vitamin C, 315 mg Green Tea and I don't think I'm going to shake this thing any time soon. I thought I was getting better a couple of times, then it comes back worse as ever.

Oh yeah, I did use nail polish on my insullation rash and it worked like a charm

I am still freagin sick. I've not been taking my temp, so I thought, what the heck. It was 99.9 after having taking Tussin and Ibuprofen all day.
I need to start working on my diet again, but when I feel this cruddy I'm just not motivated. And I haven't been this sick in a long time and I got this way AFTER changing my diet (yeah, just a coincidence, I'm sure). I'm downing Cokes again and not eating worth a hoot.

Anyhow... I met with my p-doc today. He wants me to start writing again. I've just lost my creativity though. I've become too "logical". I can't write stories now-a-days because I worry too much about accuracy (can a person survive on there own after being shot in the shoulder/chest and cauterizing the wound? How would she find natural salt in the wilderness? How long can she stumble around through thick snow, after a car accident before frostbite sets in? Are there "pack rats" in WV? yadda yadda) Google only gets me so much info lol
Then, I went to the Sheriffs Office and paid some overdue child support ($1,086. something). Then I went to the Court House to see how much I owe in Truancy (little over $1,000). Now, I need to keep nagging hubby into giving me what I owe (plus $2,000 more for back child support, but it will probably take me being served again before I get the money from him). I'm annoyed that I have to pay anything for child support. The State TOOK my children. I didn't hand them over. It should be their problem. I have my kids back and I'm paying money that I *could* use for fun activities or winter clothes. GRRR. Oh well, my screw up.

P-doc gave me some more Provigil so I don't have to skimp. On Friday, I need to pick up my Celexa. Seroquel will have to wait another week.

Tomorrow, I have to go grocery shopping and buy a cellphone for the Farm, then take some groceries up to my sons. My oldest son will probably be jonesing to go to town, so I'll probably bring them both down for the weekend. Which means, leaving extra food for the critters...
I also need to try to figure out why the heck the fridge stop working. It's only a couple of years old.

try eating raw fruits and veggies for a couple days and you will start to feel better. All that processed crap and cooked food is putting toxins in your body. Eating fruits and veggies will give your body a chance to get rid of those toxins and wastes. Cold virus thrives in a toxic acidic enviorment. You might feel a little crappy at first because all those toxins get released into your bloodstream, but you'll fell better after.

      Thanks Dad
I have $100. to buy groceries for one week for 4 people. It's easier for me to live off of cracker sticks with cheese dip, tuna and water. I need to go to the Dollar Tree again tomorrow and see if they have my water stocked yet (6 16 ounce bottles of GOOD water for $1.00 *WOOT*). They haven't had it which is why I'm back on Soda. I can live off of $3.00 a day but I realize growing children need better nutrition so they get chicken, hamburger, veggies, tuna, spaghetti, keilbasa and apples or bananas. Oh, and Pizza with Chips every Wednesday But I can make the meals stretch only so far and I'm a bit of a germaphobe anyhow, so............. canned or boxed food for me (mostly). No refridgeration, no cooking, shoot no heating required most of the time lol
But yeah, I need to improve lol
I'll try to get some nutritious items for myself tomorrow.

Sounds like my house Give me a can of corn straight from the can any day.
My eldest son (18) is the cook of the family. He tries to get me to eat and I will eat some of what he cooks, then I say I'm full and give it to who ever's still hungry. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm putting on so much weight (rhetorical- I don't MOVE is why lol)

Ah well. Another thing for my to-do list is to see if any pharmacy is open tomorrow. Hubby's going to write me a prescription for tessalon perles. He said several people at his office have gotten sick and the couple that took that particular med got over it much faster than the others. If nothing's open, I'll have to wait until Friday. Shoot, I'm out of Celexa. I forgot all about that doggone it. Oh well, I can live a day without it.

For now, I MUST go to bed and actually get some sleep!! I have a busy day ahead of me. I'm feeling so yucky though, I doubt I'll have much success.

I hope you have a great time Armistice! Eat some extra stuffing and pumpkin pie for me will ya?

I never did get to sleep last night. I tried going to McD's for breakfast but they were closed (how dare they lol), so I went to Hardees instead. I just got a small smothered hashbrowns and a Soda (52 ounces that I've been nursing since 8AM). I found a gallon of water in my horribly messy car though. I'll have it finished by tomorrow morning
I went to Wally World to buy the Scroungies (kittens) some food. I bought some pencils, a pencil sharpener, some college rule paper and a Dean Koontz book. Now, I have about $25. to spend on groceries for the week I get $120. tomorrow though in child support, so the food problem is solved
So, my sons will have to hold their weennies until tomorrow. If they get desperate, they can eat the dogs (not really, they should have more than enough food left over). I'm still sick, running a slight fever, but my cough seems to be dying down some *knock on wood*

I'm going to start writing a novella today. While driving for food, I came up with the perfect solution: A fantasy novel. My gal can find salt where ever she pleases, and who says it has to be a gun that shoots her? So, I'm going to create my own little world with its own religion and everything. And I don't have to worry about everything being scientifically accurate because I am the creator of her universe
I'm also going to clean my bedroom and the bird stand.
By 10 PM, I'm going to chug a bottle of Tussin (not really, only a couple chugs) and knock myself out until tomorrow afternoon. From there, I'll get food, rescue my sons, then be back in town before dark.

      I FEEL wonderful today.

Only one religion? What kind of utopia are you dreaming up? XD Sounds like the makings of a very fun-to-write piece - good luck with it.

I haven't continued work on the cover song I'd mentioned, but it's for a good reason! I swear!
A friend of mine from a class a couple semesters back asking if I might help his band with recording some drums for their demos. Leaving out all the itty bitty details, the tracks they had weren't on a constant tempo, so I learned the guitar bits and re-recorded them myself, added a full drum track, and threw in a bass guitar for good measure. Shipping it off today to said friend, he got back to me and dispelled my nervousness (I've never successfully collaborated with anyone musically, and I've tried several times), and said he ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Made my Thanksgiving day.

If you're reading this before December 2nd you can listen to the instrumental version of the song here! It's pretty rockin', turn it up!

Also, over the last five/six days, I've worked almost constantly on hand-coding my website from scratch (old design wasn't easy to edit nor easy to use), and have at last finished it to a point where anything I add beyond this point is simply a new accessory or just something cool I'll pick up in my adventures with web development. Have a look if you'd indulge me with a few minutes of your time: 2010 :: CME :: 2011

      Current goals list:
      - Finish another track for Caliber.
      - Add stylesheet chooser to site.
      - Work on vox for cover tune.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

Blah... Tussin does nothing for me now...
I'm awake and going to go shopping and to the Farm at around 3AM to avoid the Black Friday shoppers.
I've not accomplished my goals yet, but I'm optimistic

In my story, there will be many religions, but only one I'm going to focus on for now

I checked out your links and all the music ones are broken Sweet webpage though (but the color scheme did blind me for a moment lol).
Glad to hear you got some positive feedback. Hopefully there will be many more enjoyable musical projects in your future.

Bah humbug! I'll get the music online sometime tomorrow so you can hear it. Thanks for the thoughts on the site! It's pretty obvious that red is my colour, but it seems others with much brighter monitors than mine aren't taking too well to the bright red background, so I'm adding a skin switcher to the site tonight. Should be good! I'm thinking of having a black and white theme, the red one you see now, a green/forest/adventure coloured theme, and one that uses off-red and off-violet kind of colours. (Don't know how to describe it, but they're very old-photo-like, I'll get something online to show what I'm talking about.)

My mom is going out after 3AM to check out ereaders since I mentioned that I'd like one, so I hope you and her don't get hit too much with the Black Friday craziness!

      Figure this shit out:

As the question knows the answer, the answer belongs to the question.
(And that is the whole point, I think):
To know the question, and thus belong to the answer.
I'd kill a man of any complexion with a devilish nature

Cause I'm trying to save the earth, but you're just getting in line to rape her
