Just curious if anyone knows about the effects of vitamin D3 on dreams and lucidity? I'm taking a bunch starting today over the next few weeks for SAD, thank you Ohio! I hope something cool or interesting happens. I'll be posting my results. |

I've been browsing the forums for about an hour now and even tried searching.. but to no avail! No D3. Most of the discussed vitamins on the forums are of the B-complex. |

Well, kick me...I guess I'm so used to seeing vitamin talk I took it for granted. |

Thank you paigeyemps! My dreams last night were rather.. interesting. They involved quite a bit of, what I believe to be, symbolism. At first glance, they didn't make much sense but when I actually applied a bit of thought power, it clicked. The feelings in my dreams were quite vivid as well. At one point, I had jumped off of a sinking ship and into the frigid Atlantic ocean. I could feel the water and sensed the despair of those around me. Quite powerful actually! |

That sounds awesome! I really love awesome and vivid nonlucids (tbh they can be better than lucids sometimes). |

Definitelly keep track of how much you take, what time, how long before sleep and the effect on dreams and recall. Good luck |

Does anyone know if it is safe to have Vitamin B complex and Ginko biloba before bed for dreaming benefits? |

Sorry to post on this thread after a couple months of inactivity, but as you know there aren't many threads about this. I just started taking Vitamin D3 yesterday, and I believe it is the cause of the extremely screwed up dreams I experienced. I took one small tablet of the vitamin about 4 hours before bed, but I wasn't expecting any effects on my dreaming so the placebo effect is out of the question. I'll continue taking it and post the results here. |
