Thread: Mirror Reflection

My reflection in dreams is normal as well. This is mostly because I simply believe that dream mirrors don't exist just to scare you. Most of the time you will see a scary reflection because you're expecting it to be scary. The last time I looked in a mirror in a dream it was just fine. My reflection was actually more vivid and realistic than my dream self. I thought that was pretty interesting really.

Mirrors in dreams are an excellent tool for shapeshifting. And very true what Oreoboy1996 said. Try and just expect what you will want yourself to look like when staring in the mirror.

I've Never been scared by a mirror in my dreams, is it common? Some times I will experience some minor changes in my appearance but not every time.

Last night as I WILD a mirror appeared before me with my reflection looking back at me. It wasn't scary, but a little creepy feeling. Pretty sure it was the first time I ever saw my reflection in a mirror while Lucid. I've never gone looking for a mirror before. It looked like me, I recognized my image. Didn't notice anything abnormal about the image. Other than the fact that it felt like my reflection was looking at me with a mind of it's own.

I always look like crap in dream mirrors, like I haven't slept in a week...probably something Freudian going on, I suppose. Beyond that mirrors are pretty meaningless to me.

Next time I see a mirror, Im going to pull my mirror self out of it.

That was a Lucid task of the month a while back. I'll have to look for a mirror one of these times when I have a good DILD. I never think of it. It's not real high on my priority list I guess. But I do want to try it sometime.

Exactly, i agree with Dreamprofesser about shapeshifting.

I rarely check mirrors, but when i do i usually look a little weird or totally different than i should...

In one of my lucids I was afraid to look at myself in the mirror, as one was right in front of me. I had always heard that whenever you looked into mirrors in dreams that you would look distorted or creepy. I think that is just a myth. But anyways, I didn't want to see myself in the mirror, I just wanted to see a shadow of my body. So I quickly ran in front of the mirror and started dancing really quickly lol. I saw myself but it was very blurry. I looked kinda weird though.
