      First lucid dream since trying!

Hey all, recently I had my first lucid dream since I joined this site and started really trying. I've had a couple before but that was pretty long ago, must have been at least 9 months.

I woke up in my bedroom, and the instant I woke up I realised I was dreaming. I tried to get out of bed but I couldn't and my whole body was so heavy. It was like I had to pull my 'spirit' out of myself. When I'd gotten up I looked outside since someone was throwing snowballs at my window (first floor). Before my curtains were closed, but they were suddenly open. The guy throwing snowballs was some asian guy who smokes weed everyday, know him from school, lol. And suddenly my other friend was throwing snowballs at my window, called Jelle. He was wearing his usual style of clothes, an unique one for a white guy around here, long black jacket and his moncler hat. I told him to fuck off and jumped out of the window, I fell right on my face but didn't care since it was a dream. The point where my head hit would normally be stones sticking out, so in real I'd probaly be half-dead lol.

When I got up it was suddenly dark outside, and dark outside is a never a good sign in my dream. I was aware of that. Suddenly a car came driving by and I immediately thought of good things, not bad ones. So luckily some friends stepped out of it (even though none of them have a driver's license) and we started walking around my street army style in a formation to fend off attackers (perhaps this is a sort of self-defence mechanism against nightmares?) and I saw someone walking in the distance, didn't pay much attention and thought to myself 'Hey! I want to fly!', didn't work at first. So then I thought, okay... small jumps at a time. It worked! But after a while of getting up slightly high my dream ended, alas.

It was a nice dream, but I got a bit scared when it turned dark. Still, it felt weird... and I wasn't in complete control. Very nice though and I definitely want to experience this more often.

Nice job . You're first LD looks like it lasted a while longer than my first xD. You did a good job on the second part where you thought of good things instead of bad things!

In time you will get more and more control, especially if you work with it. When I flew in one of mine, instead of just thinking it and waiting for something, I shouted it out loud and put a little desire to it as well. I also jumped when I said that, and it worked out. Perhaps if you are having trouble with something, it may help to say it out loud.

Again, good job! Here's to many more

Thanks everyone! I actually had one again this morning haha but it was very short. I was super saiyan (lmao) and had to find someone, so I went out of super saiyan mode to sneak around to my target, then I realised I was dreaming. So I started walking around in my neighboorhood and I looked at someone and shouted 'you're in a dream!' but she completely ignored it and I thought 'Fuck you then' and went on. I later saw a very good-looking female friend of mine and couldn't resist walking up to her, touched her and my dream ended, sigh. I wanted to walk to the local supermarket but couldn't make it because of that, I used to work there. ):

Just remember to keep your emotions under control while your lucid to keep the dream from ending. That sounds like why the dream ended for you.
