      I lived a whole life :)

Well for the past few days I tried out a concept I had been thinking about and it worked. I would live a whole life. Then I put my mind to it so that when I went to dream every night I would 'continue' my 'life' (My LD life). Once again it worked .

Well in the end I died in a car crrash while I was walking across the street at the age of 12. I woke up crying. One hell of an experience though.

Has anyone else ever tried this?

I didn't tried something like this (yet), because I'm a beginner and stuff.
But I find the idea very interesting. It's interesting, too, that you waked up crying when you died in LD.

Maybe you should try this again, or something. Because it would be much more interesting, when your dream-age would be over your real age.

But how exactly did you do this project? I mean, you can't dream every single second from your dream-birth to the car crash. How did you manage this?

I'm also pretty interested in this, partly because I want to do it.

How did you mange to do this?

      How did you die?

It seems like you were attached to your LD life, so you could've just used some magical power or something to stay alive .

Anyways, seems like an interesting concept. But like everyone else is asking, how did you manage living out the life in 1 hour periods XD ?

I'm really intrigued as to how people do this! I'd love to try, but...
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

My dreams went faster than reality, plus I skipped most of the sleeping in the dream, like when most people go to sleep in their dream they skip that part. I'm pretty sure most of birth (ages 1-2) I aged actually pretty quickly. At age 4 I actually started to control my dreams.

I've done something similar. I continued a dream "story" the whole of one summer about 15 years ago. In the end I got killed by being shot by someone. I didn't wake up crying, but I did wake up with a feeling of shock that I'd been killed.

I've never thought about that before. Would it be possible to live each day and then when you know you're waking up go to sleep in the dream so you're sleeping when you're awake and vice-versa? That seems really cool to me! Maybe I'll try.

      Don't wanna die though...

It would also be cool to like have an alternate reality life, like living out a story, where you're in Hogwarts or are a vampire or something.

      Wow.

I seriously want to WILD now... hehe heh I luvz mai motivations...

That is awesome, Juf! Now, live a dream life, and make it exactly how you want your waking life to be, OR, may it completely magical and mystical. I hope this is all in your DJ.

I think this is a possible if you got a lucid dream every one a week or so. Just when you get lucid, remember to continue your life from the previous dream of the life you have. Doing it enough times, and it should become a habit.

In a semi-lucid, I decided that I was unhappy with the decisions I'd made in life, and so "reset" to the moment I was born. I sort of skipped-ahead to when I was two years old at that point, and suddenly "remembered" that I "used to be" thirteen (I had this dream when I was thirteen) and "un-reset" myself back to the moment I decided to "reset". Very profound, in an unexplainable kind of way.

That would be cool, having a waking and dreaming life.

Why did you cry when you woke up, though? You could always start again or continue it, since it was all just a dream.

I think Juf means it was emotional to him that he died so he woke up crying thinking how sad it was that he died.... I think?

It would be cool if you did it in one night and lived to be a hundred years old. Mad props.

Yes, I've thought of this for a while. Imagine getting so skilled that you were able to have a lucid every night? I wonder if it's even possible to have a lucid every night. Anyways, it would be like an endless stream of life! If anybody roleplays or is interested in certain characters from a movie/book/whatever, they could meet their characters or even live out the life of the character! Of course, you could meet the characters in a normal LD, but it would be so neat to have them as part of your nightlife (pun intended).
