How can I not do this? lol! Lately I have been increasing a lot my DILDS/MILDs and I have the same problem as you OP. As soon as I get lucid, I have a false awakening, or a real one way too fast....

Awareness. Absolute self-awareness. Practise meditation in waking life and then do it in a lucid dream.

I've found licking the ground is the best stabilization method for me. I tried it out after hearing about it on the get lucid podcast. It might sound gross at first, but remember, you are dreaming....

Rubbing my hands together works well for me, try it out! Also, try to hold on to any objects near you, or even your body parts like look at your hands and arms and study them. But another way is...

Hey, It's cool how you are experimenting with the dream world, it reminds me of how I was before my restart. The best bit of advice I can give you is mind control, I have to say though that normally...

You can't make a DC do something, unless you summoned it for your personal use. You can't walk up to one and ask stuff, it doesn't work, actually not for me but i don't know about someone else's...

I haven't tried this myself, as I am still a beginner. But I read somewhere that you could ask another DC where the person you are looking for is.

Well one of the spiritual sides of this says it is from aligning your chakras. If you have a curved/hunched back this hinders the flow of "energies" that help in reaching higher states of mind. ...

presence liked post by Highlander On thread : Do you need reality checks after 20-30 lucid dreams ?
I know what you mean because when I have a DILD, then in most cases I generally have enough awareness anyhow. I would like to think however that a RC would still be a very useful tool for when you...

It's not really the RC that gets you lucid. It's the awareness question you give yourself before you do RC. The "wow, am I dreaming?" question. And then you RC to confirm. So when you just...

I read somewhere on this forum that if you want a dream character to do something or give you something, you can approach them and talk to them as if they already know you and have already agreed to...

During the day try to picture yourself becoming lucid and asking someone ;) Replay the scene as much as possible in your mind so that when you finally get into a dream it will become second nature to...

I say you just need to be confident about yourself IRL. I am very confident (almost too confident) and I can't keep DCs off me, and I don't even want a romantic experience with them. When I see them...

I think you answered your own question here in a way. Much of what happens is reflective of your belief. If you believe they're going to reject you, regardless of what you want to happen, then...
