I've been making love to my demons for years.

Well... No. Lucid dreamers and researchers like Stephen Laberge have know for a long time that best way to deal with your 'demons' is to fully accept them into your wider being, ie. hugs. Carl Jung...

I like to think of the screeching as the dream equivalent of the dial-tone of old dialup modems- like the frequency of logging in to the dream world. It's scary as shit though.

Lucid dreams tend to be harder to forget due the intensity of the experience. But they are still dreams, so they are subject to those pesky obstacles, like moving when you wake up, waking up in a...

I haven't, actually, which seems really odd to me. I do play games like Skyrim, used to play games like FlyFF, MSOnline, etc, but i've never recalled actually exploring a dungeon in a dream. I wonder...

Definitely. I love dungeon dreams. I've had a lot of them that were inspired by games like God of War, Indiana Jones movies, etc. One of my favorite lucid dreams was when I entered a God of War-like...

Well first off that is a definite dream sign! Affirm to yourself you will know you are in a dream when you're in this town! (and the old man that is there) That's definitely interesting...

I am on the same situation, but for me it was induced. I never stay in the same planet for long enough to make maps though. As Erii said, you can use it as a dream sign and a RC too, have you tried...

I've never seen Ink. The trailer looks amazing. This thread is making me want to have a dream movie marathon this weekend.

I have a hard time flying through outer space. It is too empty. I lose my focus, much like I would if I just closed my eyes.

I was texting this chicka earlier today. In bed cause I had just got done stretching and eating so everything was comfortable. I sent her something like "Hey foxy lady. What are you up to?" My bedroom looked relatively normal and the sun was still bright casting lines a crossed the walls in my room. Then my phone made the sound like it was vibrating and remained motionless in my hand. Confused I checked the response and it was "Smoking and watching Doctor Who." A typical answer but I decided to RC.
The lines from my windows shadow on the wall started to dance and bend in to crazy shapes. The bedroom was changing rapidly in subtle ways. I woke up in my bed under a warm cocoon of clean blankets. I must have drifted off to sleep and never sent any texts. Crazy experience. I will try to tell myself to remember harder if I decide to tale a day time nap again. How bizarre the experience was I figure lucid dreams would be awesome.
The rest of today and tomorrow morning will be full of Reality Checks.
I might make a habit of typing in here frequently. Either way welcome to my journal, I hope you have amazing dreams.
