Due to the nature of the track (ending in sleep) I might rather test it somewhere the next days, because I'd have to prepare some things for starting sleep like that.
Personal Records so far: Max lucids per day: 2 | Max lucids per week: 4 | Max lucids per month: 8 | Max dreams recalled in one night: 17
      Longest lucid dream: ~35min | Highest flight: zoomed out of common existence [WTF?] | Fastest speed: FTL | DILD/EILD/DEILD [X] | WILD/VILD [X] | MILD/FILD/HILD [ ]

      Blayzeing,

I'd like to help out too. If you could send me the mp3's I'll try it out and report the results.

That's brilliant! The links are above (as StaySharp kindly told you, Thanks!) and don't hesitate to reply posting any changes you experience in dream pattern.

In other news, I am possibly going to put together a subliminal-based program to see what the effects on Lucid Dreaming that will have, I will post a link after I've checked it myself

I know you probably have plenty of subjects, but put me on the list if you ever need any more testees! I practice daily meditation and am thinking about trying out some mugwort tea. Do you think this might skew results?

It would be great if you could try out the MP3s, and I would really appreciate feedback! the MP3s are in page 2 I think, so you can download them from there (if you can't, I'll send you some more up-to-date links), it will be good to hear back from you!

Based on 1 listen through of your 8 minute mp3...I left it on repeat. This was only a naptime trial.
Effects: Very relaxed and after a while I could not feel my body...although it was not sleep paralysis. If i wanted to move, i could move...but it was a very deep "numbness" for lack of a better word.
I did not achieve any kind of lucidity, and my naptime dreams weren't very memorable. (i had no expectations either way regarding this).

Possible suggestions: It may be useful after your first speaking ends, to insert several hours of either silence or minimal white noise. Following this, during the early morning hours...say after hour 6 of sleep...begin by speaking words like "You are dreaming, and you are awake". The theory being, that those words (if delivered in the right way, frequency, and time) will present dream cues to the dreamer.
OR, maybe you could go through another different session of hypnosis while the listener is asleep. i have no idea if this would or could work.
Dream cues do work though, a full bladder will give the dreamer dreams about water or swimming or having to pee for instance.

Something key here though when speaking to the dreamer...it needs to be loud and forceful enough to penetrate sleep, without being so forceful it brings on full alertness. I think speaking soft here would be a mistake, it should be firm but quiet and the words should be spoken somewhat rapidly with a couple minute pause in between...then repeat.

I've tried it yesterday, no significant results. I wasn't able to sleep as long as usual though. Might try it again today.

Thank you for your very detailed reply, I can see exactly whats happening now! The hypnosis works, which is great. But the actual lucidity part of the MP3s only works if you subconsciously know your in a dream (meaning a first-timer DILD would be a great subject for this!). I have thought about this for a while now, and up until I read your post, I was stuck; But your post about the dream-suggestions made me remember that I have done this before! So I will record(when I can) a sleep-induced hypnosis tape, and put it up here; along with instructions. Surprisingly, it does help to speak softly, but you have to have it voice-level and it has to be coming from somewhere in your room, not your head for it to work; but then again, that is proper full-on hypnosis, so anyway, I'll post it here when its made. And as always, thanks to everyone for keeping this thread going!
