Attaining lucidity works 100% of the time

Ok so I've been using this technique naturally for a very long time now and it seems to work every time. It's quite simply and involves little to no preparation. During the day try to keep yourself as aware of your surroundings as possible. If you see a normal everyday item lying around, point to it and name it out loud. If you see a tree in the street, go up to it and say "Tree". This makes your brain good at distinguishing between dream and reality. You can also try shouting as loud as you can, as it is very difficult to shout in a dream and therefore if you attempt it in your dream and it does not work, you will know you are dreaming.

Before you go to sleep it is essential to take in as much cheese as possible. I know this sounds far fetched, but cheese is well known for containing vitamins that increase the dream centres of the brain. Personally I have a blender into which I put a block of cheese and then I blend it and drink it around 30 minutes before bed. You can do this or you can just eat cheese, personally I think my method is the most effective but either will produce results.

Now you've enhanced your dreams you need to learn to control them. To do this, you must ensure that your brain is fully functioning as you go to bed. Try reciting the alphabet backwards whilst standing on one leg with your eyes closed. If you're feeling adventurous you can also try and balance something on your head as well to keep your brain focused. Then, it is VITAL to drink some water to wash down the cheese. However, if it is a full moon do not drink the water because the moon influences sleep patterns significantly, and a slightly fuller bladder on the night of a full moon could wake you from the middle of a lucid dream.

Now for the important part. Go to bed. Close your eyes, and see what your dreams have in store for you...

I mean I love cheese and all but I cannot see myself blending a block of cheddar or swiss and drinking it like a shake. That's just too much and can cause serious problems. I get constipated enough as it is with cheese.
I've never had any problems with cheese consumption. As long as I have a glass of water afterwards it's usually fine. Except on full moons of course, I don't tend to do it on those days because of this. I think my overall balanced diet helps me consume so much cheese because I am a naturally healthy person.

First of all, thank you, thank you for posting this!

It's a wonderful method, but I can see you are struggling with some more advanced aspects of it.

      RE: CHEESE
Haha, no need to use the blender. That late at night, it just pisses off the neighbors. Just get cheese-whiz. You can buy this wonderful liquid cheese in a jar, or if you are adventurous and hip as I am, get the one in a spray can. Problem solved : D

RE: TRANCE DANCE (lel that's how I call it)
Yes, you can just do the mundane standing and balancing and blah blah... (boooring). Or, you can put your left foot in, then your left foot out, then your right foot in and then your right foot out. Don't forget to shake it all about. This is not only good for your overall physical and mental health, but it negates the unwelcomed effects the full moon has on the glass of water.

So, if you have any more questions, just ask.

      Also, moved to BS forum.

I like that cheese method, but you can use milk too. All you need to do is to drink about 3 gallons of milk just before bed. No need to be precise - everyone is different. Try first 3 gallons, if it's not enough or too much try between 3.5 and 2.5 gallons. Remember - for it to work you need to be fast - try to drink it within 10 minutes. Try using a mantra or meditate beforehand to drink it faster. Something like "I'll be able to drink this milk without hospitalization", but feel free to be creative with the wording.

By the way, I also do the "yelling at trees" method. But why limit yourself to trees? I do it on everything wooden. Only works if something contains wood, though - don't try this on metallic objects or you'll have nightmares.

Mock me all you like, but with my method you will achieve lucidity like no other. As you can clearly see I have mastered this method and can execute it to the point where I do not even need to go to sleep in order to lucid dream. In waking life I can now influence my surroundings to a certain degree. I have become so powerful that I could curse you all for your lack of faith. I could, and I might. One of you doubters will be plagued tonight by a dream that will haunt your subconscious forever...

I wasn't going to say anything but I felt this was a must...

Whether you are being serious about "cursing people" or not I personally wouldn't suggest trying to attack anyone unless you know what you are doing. Some of us have spiritual/otherworldly guardians who will harm anyone who seeks to harm their bounded individual. You could end up biting off more than you can chew. Just a fair warning before trying to attack anyone in that fashion.

The only thing we'd be plagued with is horrible constipation from eating all that cheese...

      Haha, nearly fell for it!
However I just responded on the "Trifle Dream" which is also in senseless banter now - and the like buttons are missing there too!

Instructions unclear. I accidentally built a shelf.

Sure, as long as you fill the shelf with a variety of wonderful cheeses.

I totally see where your coming from with the blender cheese, but why limit yourself to cheese? One of my favorite induction methods is to make "dream sludge". Simply find a 10 gallon blender. Here comes the hard part; put 1 block of cheese, 2 gallons of apple juice, 3 ish gallons of milk (referring to Spocks post), 3 jars of peanut butter, and a pickle. Blend for 2 minutes. While blending you must simultaneously point at the blender, yell CHEESE CHEESE CHEESE as loud as you can, stand on one leg, recite the abc backwards, and balance a carrot on your head. Now chug. If you don't get a referral to the local asylum, congrats! You are now dreaming.
