As children we believe anything is possible. As adults, we need to remember it.
It's difficult to tell whether you were in SP just from the fact that you felt numb. When you lie still for a long period of time, you'll probably lose feeling in your limbs but this does not necessarily mean you were paralyzed. A sudden change in awareness (or mental clarity), the feeling of a lead blanket being over you, vibrations, an increased heart rate and buzzing/humming/other noises are definitely indicators of SP. Saying this, since you had an increased heart rate, it's safe to assume you were in SP. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Have questions about lucid dreaming? DM me.
When I first starting tryin to WILD, I used to feel the exact same thing with the numbness but I was mistaking it for SP, but it actually wasn't. When I first actually felt SP, it came on with loud ear pops and a buzzing vibrating feeling and noise all throughout my body, and it was a surprising thing to say the least. After feeling it and staying calm without thinking about anything, a dream scene appeared right before me and I was lucid. Yes you are on the right track, but I do not think you actually felt SP, because I used to mistake the same thing before I actually felt it, it will feel different. Good luck |
