Hi, |
OK, I know there are some topics like this, but I had to make one. So while I am trying to WILD I get these twitches. I've read other topics and there are just minor twitches (they happen to me too), but today my whole body twitches. It is very annoying. I count when I am WILD-ing, so it comes like a meditation in a way since it clears my mind and as soon as white light appears (beginning of my transition), my whole body moves and I lose it. How to get rid of them? |

I'm back! Again? Uhhh..
Focus on the buzz of your ears. |

Sometimes I try WILD and I my feet get really volatile, as in it is extremely difficult to keep them from twitching, and it feels like they are constantly on the brink of spasming. When this happens I just go to sleep. Usually the cause is that I am too tired or too stressed that night, just generally that the conditions are not ideal. |

Birds of the night..
Your body is not relaxed. If 61 point relaxation is too hard, it sounds like it is difficult for you to keep your mind on one thing for very long--which could explain your twitching. If your body is wound tight, your mind usually is too. You say stretching has negative effects--what are they? You should keep stretching light, and not try to force your body to comply. |

I think I am getting better at 61 point. I inhale and exhale and I can feel the point I am currently focusing on. But still I don't see I am relaxing, it is helping me falling asleep, but I am not more relaxed than I was before technique. I will try naukasana. I will research it a bit, since I only have general idea what it is. I am really tight with time, so I need to use these 7 days I have left for intensive LD practice as much as I can. |

I kind of have the same problem, but I'm curious on your opinions on preventing it. |
While I am open-minded in general, I'm fairly skeptical about this in particular. If this is possible, it would be high-level dream yogi stuff. A normal person won't have much luck staying cognizant of two different worlds. Too much stimuli--not to mention, you're asleep. |

Yeah, 10 WILDs in just one minute seems too much. |
I honestly don't know when to qualify it as a dream or hh, basically what I have takes up all my awareness, I can move in it, control objects, feel things and hear things. |
Just stay still in that state, between planes it can be confusing. When you find yourself doing that, if you still find yourself limited, visualize somewhere you wanna go (a forest, mountain, space...) and then shortly after you will be there, fully lucid and assured you are not under HH. |
I'm already creating where I want to be, like for example I'll start creating a scenario that I'm playing a sport and I'll see the field and the feeling of running, then get a spasm that wakes me up. |
I didn't read the whole thread, but from what you just said, it sounds like you're trying to be too active too early. This is when a dream is still forming? At that stage you should be still and let it form more completely - trying to run or do anything active at that stage will cause a hypnic jerk that will wake you up, as you said. |
Well I'm starting the dream active usually, so I guess that's the case. |

What exactly do you mean by not actively engaging? |
Sometimes when I DILD at the very beginning of a dream (a dreamlet), I will find that my dream body is already doing things (like walking down a street, for instance). It just acts on its own. I can make slight, gentle changes in its behavior (such as smiling or looking in a certain direction) but anything very active (like RCing) wakes me up. |
