      Look. Another new member :)

      Hello everyone.


      After watching Inception a couple of days ago i was fascinated about whether or not the stuff seen in the film was possible. So i searched Youtube and stumbled across 'Lucid dreaming', I spent most of yesterday researching about it and i really really want to give it a go.


      So here i am.

      Ah, Inception! Although I'll never know exactly how my first spontaneous lucid dream hit me, I have to think that this excellent film had something to do with it. It really captures the imagination. What's most striking is that, if anything, Inception understates how vivid and powerful dreams can be. Congratulations on doing your homework and resolving to take the first step down the road of lucid dreaming!

      If you're looking to get going with the basics and get some slightly more personalized instruction going, I got a ton of help by starting out in the Intro Class. That was a great place for me to communicate with some really excellent instructors as well as get the early guidance that I needed to get my practice going in the right direction. I still hang out there today (as well as help out some with the teaching.)       Inception is literally nothing compared to a real lucid dream. Actually i think the movie was kind of a flop, because why wouldnt the fly or shoot laser beams from their hands while they were on the dream in the movie? It makes no sense, they were just walking around and shooting with guns... still one of the best movies ever.

      Once you get a fully lucid dream that lasts more than 10 minutes , you are hooked. At least i was and still am.

      Lucid dreaming is truly fascinating, and while I've never seen Inception myself I hear that lucid dreams are far better than what was shown. I know I've always found them to be amazing and exciting!
