I RC'd in a dream, and it sucseeded but I did not become lucid.

So after a month of trying to have an LD, I finnaly reality checked in my dream last night, I counted my fingers and half way they where 8 already, that was weird I thought, so I counted again, 8, then I fought I must be drunk or something and went on.

Goals: Have a LD [] Fly [] more to come

Haha that's a shame. Don't worry though it happens to the best of us

Your critical faculty was not quite active enough and so you noticed that counting 8 fingers was wrong but accepted an explanation. Nearly but not quite.

My RC is plugging my nose and seeing I can still breathe, I have never had it fail before.

Hehe, hate it when that happens.

That's why it's a good idea to do more than one reality check at a time.

Hah, I know what you mean! Last night was the first time my main reality check ever failed I was in a room, and noticed the weightlessness feeling I often get when lucid. I, of course, immediately recognized my dream sign, but my brain told me, "It's not a dream, this house you're in produces lucidity-like feelings!" And I totally bought it

So I started floating around thinking this was the coolest house in the world... luckily I figured out this whole notion was pretty absurd and this truly was a dream

      Patience, you'll get there, too

I got the same RC and I failed it a few times...First time my RC failed, I was dancing cause I was so happy to be in a lucid dream. Then I remembered, I should do a reality check...It failed and I apologized to every Dream Character around me. When I woke up, I was like
