4 months after I discovered lucid dreaming I had my first one, which sucked

2 months after, I had my second which sucked as well.

8 months later, I had 3 within a short time period, which were all very short and not bad or good experiences

2 months later, I had a couple of lucid dreams per month, and have been doing that for 6 months all the way to the present moment. None have been particularly lucid, but can be classified as lucid dreams anyhow.

But meh. Progress is progress anyhow.

I had my first LD the same day I learned about them.
I read somewhere that the first LD comes from getting really interested in LDs.

Well, I started my research on the 6th of this month and then I had my first lucid experience on the 13th. So a week exactly. Since then, I've had 6 more lucid experiences, two in one afternoon.

Yes, really interested or basically having your mind so focused on the new thing, that it works like a super R.C., where you have LDs pretty much on your mind constantly. It wears off after a while however, so you obviously can't just rely on knowing about LDs to make you have one.

It took me a few months after I really started trying to have my first remembered lucid. I guess it took me a little longer, but it generally varies from person to person.
Im sad, though, I haven't had a lucid in a while.

Yea it varies from person to person. It just depends on how much of a natural Lucid Dreamer you are.

I had a lucid dream when I was 6 or 7, super cool flying one. It lasted for like 15 solid minutes, then ended with a black thing dragging at my feet. I always remembered it as the best dream ever, and that was 10/11 years ago. That gives me hope, knowing I at least CAN lucid dream.

For me, I believe it took me a month to get my first when I started back in 2006. I then had 1/month until I quit in 2007.

When I started back up this year in April, it took me 18 days to have my first, and I've worked that down to a lucid dream every 3-4 days, and working that down to every day currently
