They work great for me. What are you using them for? I use them to fall asleep.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

Binaural beats help me relax, but that's probably just because they sound relaxing. As for lucid dream induction, it wouldn't hurt to try but I've never had an LD from using them. I don't think binaural beats can cause that important boost in awareness unless (maybe) you focus on them as you fall asleep.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I can relax my body and mind through slow breathing until i just zonk out, doesn't matter what time of day. Or i can wait until i get in a really groggy state in the afternoon or night after a snack or meal. i got options pretty much i can will my self to sleep it is very rare that i lay down then become restless and not sleep at all.

I've had mixed results with Binaural Beats in general. Sleep/energy beats work really well for me (Hibernate knocks me out, Sleeping Angel lulls me into a pleasant nap, French Roast gives me a nice boost when I need it and Taurine cracks me out [iDoser] ) but I haven't had any success with Lucid Dreaming beats yet. Granted, I've only used a lucid beat once so far (to completion) but that's what happens when you bring a new, 4-legged family member into the house. : P If anything changes, I'll be more than happy to let you know.

Also: remember that beats become more effective the more you use them. Good luck!

They've never helped me with LDing but they've helped me with other things. Alpha helps me focus a lot and also relaxes me and helps creativity flow. Delta helps my creativity flow, particularly when listening to music, however it makes me extremely sleepy. Though even though I get really sleepy, I can never fall asleep after listening to delta beats. Haven't tried any of the other kinds yet.

I've always loved listening to binaural beats. For me they are very relaxing and help gets you into the right mind-set for lucid dreaming. So far they haven't directly induced a lucid dream for me, but definitely help me keep focused as I relax before bed. I always do notice, however, my dream recall is superb the morning after listening to binaural beats and other music designed for dreams and lucid dreams.

They help me fall asleep, focus, or anything else BUT lucid dreaming. They have never helped me get a lucid dream, more like nightmares.

i do not think they are useful in directly influencing LDing, but are good for pre-relaxation phases.

I agree with this I believe the tones/beats are very subjective as with most things that have to do with lucid dreaming
      I'm always happy.
