Hm, I suspect this would work on any phone with tasks...Maybe my awful Motorola will do it too! |

Ive been trying in vain to create some kind of an mp3 deild sound, to no luck. The one mp3 I found go's on for too long and is too high pitched. I thought my cell being cheap will never have some kind of self killing alarm, last night I messed around with my bare bones samsung. I looked at alarm settings to no end and found nothing. Same with Calendar. When I entered Tasks I was already convinced this would be pointless. I set alarm to go off in a minute and it did, I assumed it would go until I turned it off. It turns itself off in 6 seconds! It's a Perfect Deild alarm and I didn't have to mess around with anything! Anyone try to use this? It worked last night, but I moved to shout it off. |

My old-school phone has a little notification chime that will only play once. I've never tried it as an alarm, but it should work. |

I'm using an Android and am yet to find a way to do it. |

My Samsung Gravity 2 automatically shuts off the alarm after 60 seconds. So I whip out my audio software, cut myself a 5 second snippet of a good alarm sound (right now I have the song used for the kick in Inception |

For my blackberry, I set my alarm for say like 4am and then I set my auto off time for 4am. Then I set a 3 second alarm and once the alarm goes off for three seconds my phone turns off. It doesn't actually shut off, it just turns off my phone reception. But I don't need to do anything in the morning, so I don't need to set another alarm. |

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

I already searched for such an alarm on my phone. Never thought about tasks though. Thank you ! |

Anybody know an iPhone app that could have an alarm like this? |

Only thing I can think of is setting a snooze... |

The most resilient parasite is an idea planted in the unconscious mind.
This seems to be the best way to do Task alarms for me, All you need to do is set a cellphone to vibrate, set that same cellphones task to go off at the time of you're choosing with task alarm on, and put in a pocket. This won't give you external noise that wakes you up too much. And it only happens once and never again. I set mutable tasks a night about 10. Both set's from 3-5 and 6-8 hours after sleep. Perfect DEILD, or CANWILD alarm! The slight vibration can jar you awake the first few nights, but once you're used to it, it becomes apparent you are less awakened then if you hear an alarm nose. |
