Does this count as a Lucid Dream?

So a few weeks ago, I attempted a MILD for the first time. I laid in bed and kept saying to myself "The next time I am dreaming, I will relize that I am dreaming." Then once I felt like I could fall asleep any second, I started to visualize a dream scene. (I fell asleep during the process) Then later on, In one of my dreams, I said to myself "I'm dreaming!" Then everything went black and it was just a black screen. I still was in the dream I think and was aware that I was dreaming but I didn't seen a damn thing. Then I woke up.......sad huh? So I was wondering, does this count as my first Lucid Dream, or was it like a fake one cuz I didn't see anything? Advice would be helpful!!
