Since you were aware that you were dreaming, it was a lucid dream. Even though you could not see anything. |

So a few weeks ago, I attempted a MILD for the first time. I laid in bed and kept saying to myself "The next time I am dreaming, I will relize that I am dreaming." Then once I felt like I could fall asleep any second, I started to visualize a dream scene. (I fell asleep during the process) |

Yes I agree. It's classed as "limbo land" when you are lucid but no dream has emerged around you, usually a dream will begin to emerge it just needs time to form or sometimes you can be there for a while..thats a good time to practice your meditation or anything else you want to do |

Yep, it was a lucid as long as you knew you were dreaming. If you happened to become excited or feel a "rush" of awareness, that makes it even easier to tell whether you were lucid or not. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
