Longer, I used to become lucid to end recurring nightmares, but I have said longer as I can't remember how long in between it was, so I'm calling it one big lucid! |
And did you induce it the same way you did your first? How did your first and second happen? Were you constantly RCing throughout the previous day? (or week) Any information is appreciated |

Roughly 1-3 weeks. Part of the reason had likely been the initial excitement and want to do it again after my first success. |
I had my first lucid the night I researched about LDing and joined this site; my second one came the night after. The first few days I had one a night. After that, I didn't have one for another couple of days but then I ended up getting them almost every day for a few weeks. It teetered off and the count fell, but then it increased again. It's been up and down like that for a while. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

After first induced, the next one was the next night and went like that for a week, after that I got them regularly, it was a whole month of whole-day-RCs, I'm trying to get back on the habit since school stress makes me go non-lucid sometimes. |

Have you noticed how EVENLY spread that poll statistic is? 1,3,9,3,1......just pointing out a useless but cool fact! |

That is pretty cool... And thanks everyone for voting and posting! |

Longer. I had one when I was like 6 or 7, and then I had my second (or official first, I don't count the first one on my DV count) about a month ago. |
......
The first time I ever had a lucid dream, I had no idea what it was. I immediately re-entered the dream, and laid in bed all day trying to do it again |
I had my first lucid dream in my early teens. I didn't even know it was called a lucid dream. It was probably 10 years before I had my second. I was in my early forties before it dawned on me lucid dreams could be induced. |
Had my first one last thursday, nothing since, irregular sleep pattern the last few nights plus a major WBTB fail i think has set me back.. |
It was 3 or 4 days for me. The few days after the first one were spent waking up ecstatically upon lucidity until I could learn how to stabilize and remain in the dream once I became lucid. |
About a month, and a year to have them regularly. |
5 days, 3rd and 4th didn't come for over 2 month though. |
It took me 5 months in total to have 5 lucid dreams. So you could say fairly 1 a month. |
