What things should I do for the first time? |

Stabilize. Experience the dream reality. Notice your feelings, but don't lose touch with the dream world. Do all the RCs you use to do to see the dream result, which helps you to become lucid the next time. Also remind yourself you will remember the dream after you wake up. Connect the idea with something you do or think about when you wake up for the case you don't wake up from the LD, but lose lucidity and continue sleeping. Don't try something difficult or risky for the first time. Just walk around and enjoy the dream world and your consciousness within dream. |

DILD: 123 ; WILD: 10 ; DEILD: 9
For a first LD, I would take it easy. Look around, stabilize, take in the details. It will be beautiful, even if you just walk around. |
Its just because i'm worried of lucid nightmare dreams. |
You can't worry about that. Lucid nightmares are very rare. See, in your dreams, what you "wish for" will happen. So you should have happy thoughts. Make a plan and write it in your DJ. Describe what you would like to do in your lucid. Pick a nice dream. Then think about it as you falling asleep. |
It seems like ALOT of fun. I really cant wait to have my first one. |
As soon as I got lucid, my first urge was to go flying, so I flew around in a darkness for 3 seconds before I woke up from excitement. |
I better start planning on what I want to do then. Also is that the only lucid dream you had? |
If you look below gab's name on her post you will see an indicator which says "LD Count". That stands for the number of lucid dreams she has had. |
You guize are so helpful. |
There is definitely no reason to be afraid of Lucid Nightmares. As a matter of fact, lucidity if often used as a way to get rid of nightmares. The first thing you should do in a LD is calm down and stabilize, that will make the experience longer and more vivid. From that point onwards, do whatever you desire, nobody makes the rules for your LDs but you |
