Well - as said else where - my husband uses a respirator because of sleep-apnea and thatīs the reason, we sleep in our own rooms. |

I have false awakenings
I have false awakenings and I believe that some assumed DEILDs occur during FA's and are actually DILDs
I have false awakenings and I know that some assumed DEILDs occur during FA's and are actually DILDs
I do not have false awakenings
As my local repository of FA ideas, I thought I would add that perhaps a type of FA could be the FA fragment...you only remember the tail end of the false awakening because it was so mundane and then it turns into what appears to be a normal dream which may be all that you remember it as unless you pick up on some of the signs that it started as an FA. This type would often be missed as an FA. I am not sure why that would matter but it could help to become lucid earlier if you recognize the FA. Here is a very interesting and fun to read FA WILD-style DILD: I Am the Wolf - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views It is something I see over and over myself and in other people's accounts, the spouse or family member or roommate supposedly interrupting our LD attempts. |

I agree! That set up would help with LDing. If I were to guess the most likely FA involving your husband, considering the above, it would be one in which he comes into your room to get something or you hear him making a lot of noise outside of the room...and assume the next morning "he was being super noisy so early this morning!" or "I wonder what he came to get in my bedroom in the middle of the night." |
