deild question for a new lder

Just for pay info I have had a deild induced lucid dream once before I even knew what a feels was so I know this method works for me. My problem is though im trying to improve dream recall which means I should record my dream right when I wake up but if I deild then I cant write it down in detail so do I try to deild or record the dream?

DEILDing last only few seconds. If you don't succeed, and you remember some cool dream, get up and write it down. You can chose every time which one you would rather do, based on your dream, or if you feel like DEILDing.

Well, I'd say to do whatever you feel like would benefit you more. Although personally, I would go for DEILD and then if I failed it, get up a write any dreams down, although you could fall back into a NLD, but then you'd have that dream to write down. So, you could go for DEILDs, I mean that is the long term goal, right? To lucid dream. So if it works, why not do it, then you'd have a lucid dream to write down. But, right now if you feel like you need to improve dream recall then you could do that. Really the decision is down to you. Just gotta weigh the pro's and con's and make a decision on which you'll benefit more from.

Seems like you have great recall!
      Do the DEILD, definitely!
      Good luck!!

I agree. If you have a good dream recall, go for the DEILD. When you wake up you'll have plenty to write about.
