      Question about DEILD

Let's say you use the DEILD technique to chain 3 lucids. Does this count as 3 lucids or as 1 ( for your lucid count)?

Lucid count isn't more than to see personal progress. I myself write down days of lucidity aswell as lucid dreams. This will show you how good you've become at DEILD'ing or inducing several each night. I'd count it as 3 dreams.

I'd count each dream as a lucid one (including the DEILDs, because with each one you have a chance of it failing).
So for me it would be three.

Edit: I should add that the more dreams you chain using DEILD, the less you may be likely remember after you wake up.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
