Edit - seeing it's indeed about beta testing - all below were my initial musings..
      To be further edited..

Mouth-watering of the finest - little bit too verbose at times.
And I'd rather like to commiserate the ones with very bad memory/attention issues/whatever, who are such not being able to realize, they are dreaming - not all of those are dogmatic box-heads.
This is one of the things, which stood out in oyur text for me..tongue.gif
And following logic - you should invest your time on both edges of the bell curve.
Maybe this is a hint!? eek.gif

Soo - you seriously say, your book holds the secret as to how the average person can succeed at LDing extraordinarily - and this way would be easy to follow and not time or energy intense.

      A consciousness-practice - within the dream?

It sounds as if you have analysed, what some exceptionally proficient LDers told you, or have written?
Paying mind to little inconsistencies - and you found those to be pointing towards secrets, as to what lies at the heart of proficient LDing.
You seemingly dismissed WILD and mentioned at some point, that the outliers would be always lucid - at another point you put it as they are lucid "at will". Where does your way lead?

And the final appetizer is a capturing and lovely piece of science - I've seen it before.

Did I otherwise basically get this correctly?

Good points! You've got it! A lot of the questions you ask answer themselves later in the book, so I won't address them yet.

What is the piece of science you're referring to?
