yeah everything does feel more fluid and natural. Some other things i find is that my personality comes out much more, I'm more creative and talkative, more confident, etc. I've also found a few times I've been able to make up some unbelievable lyrics that rhyme perfectly just on the spot off the top of my head. Of course, I never remember them when I wake up. Like in one dream someone insulted me so I insulted them back in the form of a short rap song and I totally owned them with its awesomeness
funny thing is... I don't even listen to rap.

:-D awesome, could have a "dream battle rap"-squad next to the dream warriors

yes, the recalling i also noticed to be the most important skill to develop when it comes to dreaming. guess we all do so much awesome stuff and have a hard time remembering it after waking up. thats what im working on atm, when i get better with that ill go on to lucidity and then hop into the dream battles

Captain Frapo if I can't beleive the public why should I believe you? What makes your conspiracy more truthful? Do you have any martial experience in waking life? Have you ever touched a weapon or know the proper way to throw a punch? You don't need any of that to be a dream warior but I'd expect you would if you are some kind of devine chosen warior who has been training for thousands of years through past lives.

Yeah I'd like to know the same thing. I'm not a skeptical person but with so many conspiracies floating around it would be good to know what makes yours different.

If you guys like battle, then just go ahead and join him. If he is wrong, you got a few good fights out of it, if he is right, you saved the world. What is everyone so worried about? :p The only fear I have is that one day, this will come on the TV:
"Greetings, I am Xor, and our race has taken over your planet. We wish for you to give us the one known as 'bennerman', he has been a thorn in our side for too long, and we will spare you all if you relinquish him" But how likely is that to happen?
      Bye

Lol ya I guess your right man, this world is just so filled with corruption it gets harder and harder to believe ppl, but if there's anyone I would trust it would be people on this website, because they've been right about everything so far, I used to be a huge sceptic of shared dreaming until I experienced it. So yeah consider me in the war I wanna make a difference

Hey don't get me wrong. I'll still fight along side you (weather in the form of a dc or shared dreamer) even if I don't beleive your philosiphys about why. We all as dreamers need to work together in this plane and the dream plane even if it dosn't exist.

I'm referring to the end of modern civilization, which seems to be a point of concern for the OP. I only picked 2012 'cause that seems to be the most used date for such predictions these days. Personally, I don't think we'll have anything to worry about until 2060 (for lulzy reasons), but that's just me.
You might be right. For some people this 'end of modern civilization' refers to Armageddon and for some it signifies a transformation in consciousness; an evolution that affects our DNA.

I don't know who knows this, but 95% of the human DNA have no discovered function. This DNA is referred to as Junk DNA, and scientist believe that more of this DNA will become useful in the next evolutionary stage. This unused DNA could mean that we all have potential abilities that we don't yet know about. Some of which could be reflected through our dream lives. In any case it illustrates a change that deviates from the macro structure of social conventions and group consciousness and gravitates towards individualism — abundance — and personal truth.

I believe that the door will close on the old methods of doing things. How we used to live life would no longer be an option, and under this assumption the need for physical survival skills would be rendered completely moot. If what happens is the merging of the dream plane with the physical, then we will inherit our dream capabilities in "real-time"... we will already have somewhat of an evolutionary edge.

      Basically what this person said:

As ironic as it might sound... it's mostly common sense. Personal experiences ('real' or 'dreamt') combined with historical and religious texts and drawings and the wealth of the internet (which basically reflects a conscious "real-world" shared dreamscape)

Though the biggest "proof" is the government project: MILAB, which is short for Military Abductions... which in an abundant number of cases reported their ufo or abduction experience as being supplemented by the presence of military personnel. As in the military was there, with or without guns, observing and partaking in the abductions.

A little self-education goes a long way. There are a million theories and they are all right.

Its fkn awesome to do, and I've managed to do it in lucid dreams too! Either I learnt these moves in a previous incarnation, or perhaps my subconscious has learnt them all from watching TV.- who knows could be a bit of both. I would be interested to hear if this happens to anyone else? Its really quite bizzare because I'm by no means an expert in martial arts IRL, but in some dreams I am - how is this even possible?
I think you're already on the right train of thought with this one. I've experienced much the same myself. If you throw all that's learned from playing video games too, you've got a decent recipe. (There have been printed studies on the connection between gamers and dream warriors through lucid dreaming.) I know things I can't possibly know in fighting styles and combat that I haven't touched IRL, and again "if" the dream plane merges with the physical then the knowledge from our subconscious dreamselves would theoretically tap into manifesting these abilities and astral memories instantly.

I'm not asking you to believe me. I'm asking you to fight with me. I have absolutely no "formal" martial arts training in this life, besides grappling (wrestling) and street fighting. I've forgotten who I was, just like everybody else.

And I'm not saying that I am a divine chosen warrior. I'm saying that I chose to be a warrior.... again and again over many lifetimes.

Ultimately, that's what it's about. That in light or in spite of the differences in us all about who or why we do this, it is important we stand together.

There are only two sides: "With Us" or "Against Us"... often we're at battle with ourselves. I believe it comes down to this; Focus is Power. ANYTHING that takes power from you, your focus, and distracts you... is malicious. Most of our time is spent wasting time, and not bringing ourselves to our fullest potential. We have to stress about the bullshit battles of every day. Bills, mortgage, work, family/kids, social relationships, car insurance, food... we play videogames, watch television and movies, we spend countless hours on the internet, but a large portion of it is spent wasting time (that which isn't assimilated subconsciously... but there's so much 'garbage' out there that you really need to be aware and limit what you intake in terms of television and film. FUCK commercials.)

What I'm getting at, is that we are constantly assailed by time-wasters in every day life. But that's the 'real world' we've collectively created for each other, so we play by those rules. But think of how often it happens at night in our dreams when we're genuinely "free."

How many dreams do you have where you go through a day just as normal, and then wake up? Or you have a full day of school and wake up to find out its time to go to school... or work... these are dreams wasted on distractions. EVEN LUCID DREAMING CAN BE A TRAP

Personally, I don't like to partake in lucid sex. Because being Lucid in a dream is essentially me at full potential... at self-realization. I can literally accomplish anything. But how often do we become lucid that we waste that time on popping one off with a fantasy fuck? I've done it far too many times and I hate it every time that I do because that is wasted "time" that could have been spent practicing shape-shifting, or casting energy.

What I'm getting at is that we need to battle distractions as much as possible, or use them to our advantage. All these distractions are used to keep us from realizing our true potential, even when at our full potential.

Now I leave with you all with question to ponder on:

Does reality change consciousness or is it consciousness that alters reality?

In many areas of mainstream physical science consciousness isn’t understood. Rarely is it even given a meaningful and informative description. What then is it that we call consciousness, and how might it evolve?

Now I leave with you all with question to ponder on:
      DUDE, YOU ARE THE MAN.

Thanks for everything you are sharing with us, especially the time you are taking in replying to everyone.

Does reality change consciousness or is it consciousness that alters reality?

Both. Quantum physics has proved that perception literally alters reality.

In many areas of mainstream physical science consciousness isn’t understood. Rarely is it even given a meaningful and informative description. What then is it that we call consciousness, and how might it evolve?

Consciousness is being aware. It's awareness, or lucidity. Being awake is often called being conscious, while being asleep is called being unconscious, but what if we are aware we are dreaming? What if we are awake in the dream? What if we are simultaneously aware of our physical surroundings?

The evolution takes place by becoming aware of ourselves, our physical body, our dream body, astral body, mind body, and all our other bodies, Selves, and versions of us in parallel universes. Also, an awareness of other planes, and other beings, and their sentience.

I saw Tool on Friday by the way. FUCKING AMAZING.

      ***

I have discovered that attention is energy. The inverse of that is Focus is Power. I never thought of it like that. Thank you.

The idea is to fight by yourself if you ain't experienced enough to share dreams, but if you can, for us to fight as a group

Personally, I don't necessarily believe in dream sharing, alien conspiracies, 2012, or things of that nature - an open-minded skepticism, maybe, but not a belief.

That being said, I've considered myself a dream warrior ever since I saw A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. This movie helped inspire me to stay in my nightmares and fight back, instead of just trying to wake myself up, every time I had a bad dream. Nearly all of my dreams have to do with some sort of conflict, and I'm usually finding myself in "fight or flight" situations. I'm never really the aggressor, but I can be a pretty ruthless fighter, when provoked.

As far as skills, I have a few years of martial arts under my belt, and a head full of other moves and tactics that I can't execute in waking life. They transfer over perfectly, in the dream world. My hand to hand fighting in my non-lucids is often pretty realistic and gritty, but when I'm lucid, anything goes. Telekinesis is my most effective lucid power, but I'm also prone to using energy-based attack (much like Dragonball Z characters), including energy orbs/blasts, an energy aura that surrounds me (like Goku's Kaiyo-Ken attack), and just expelling energy outward from my body and/or an explosive blast that just comes out from my center (powering-up). I've used pyrokenesis a couple of times, but it's not something I remember to use very often.

As far as why I fight? I usually fight because I'm defending something or someone. You know; the whole 'eternal struggle between good and evil' thing. There are countless villains in my dreams, so I'm never really without motive to do battle. But, sometimes I'll call on someone to spar, just because it's fun.

So yeah, by all means, you can use me as an ally, if you wish.

I hate war and violence, but I am an unwilling dream warrior. For ages that I have been pushed into battle in my dreams. I used to be helpless but lucid dreams empowered me and now I kick ass
I wrote this on my DJ, but I share it here to. I met a german lady who claims to be a medium. She held my hands and looked me in the eyes and said I had been a ninja on some past life. She said in this life I am to peaceful to engage in fights and my mission is of a different nature but that my dream ninja was very much alive. She also told me how to strengthen myself in RL to strengthen my dream ninja self and use it to fight the evil forces.
      That was quite a thrill!

Yay...The only thing that really sucks is that I'm walking around every day...looking at people...and seeing that they barely even remember their dreams- don't care about them, and don't care about the universe around them. Sigh. Oh well. . Lets have some fun shall we? So... what should be dream warrior goals? Mine is maintaining EPIC dream recall for a while, then lucidity. Thats where I'm at basically dream wise fighting...I do other things in the physical( a lot of awareness expansion, energy sensing, gnosis, and info skimming). Right now I'm researching some things to see if they work on other areas...but am focussing on EPIC dream recall.

All of experience is fun for me, whether in a dream, or in reality, because I love existing, learning, and continuously evolving and sustaining. Then again, who knows, I may not enjoy existing so much if I caught a face full of buckshot from an angry farmer. But hey, at least I'd got out with a bang.

What's really funny about this thread is its true in my case. I have been obsessed with war since I was born. I was home schooled and all I did was learn about war. Mainly WW2. It was al I could think about. i would learn strategies, generals, and famous battles. I'd also learn about tanks, helicopters, light transport vehicles, and other countries militaries. I now also watch the military channel and history channel. I didn't even know why. I just was. Much like how other kids were attracted to things like parties I was attracted to war.
Even now as a short person (5'6 - 5'7) I have been trying physically augment myself to become the perfect warrior. It's really strange. And then I read this thread and I just laugh to myself how true it is in my case even though I don't even think it's serious.
