SDILD- a new technique that might not work for everyone :(

Okay, this might work for VERY LITTLE people because people dont know other people who can do this, and even less because most people dont like shared dreaming without permission blah blah blah. But, if you dont care if people you ask enter your dreams, then SDILD might work for you. This is just a test. It stands for Shared Dreaming Induced Lucid dream. How this works is ONE person becomes lucid and simply goes to the other person and tells them they are dreaming, with permission of course XD.

This might not be the best technique, so thats why im asking for thoughts on the technique.

I'm sure this would work quite well. If you can be bothered finding me, just tell me that I'm dreaming, and tell me to do a Reality Check or something..
That should get me lucid.

Interesting idea. It might be tricky with the time zones though. I'm CET. You would have to pair people up by their zones to make sure sleep is happening at the same time.

It could also work as placebo/auto suggestion. If I go to sleep knowing someone is going to contact me to tell me I'm dreaming it just might make it so. Will be interesting to see how it turns out, anyway.

I'm not sure about shared dreaming (never had one) but if you can enter my dream and tell me I'm dreaming... Go for it.

Anyway.. This reminds me of something I do to become lucid that has actually worked many times. I'm sure you all know about affirmations before bed..( when I'm dreaming I will realize I'm dreaming) and all that jazz. I came up with a before bed affirmation of my own and I think it's awaesome. I tell myself (my dream charicters tell me I'm dreaming" I say it over and over as I fall asleep... It actually works!!! It is so easy to become lucid when DC's tell you your dreaming.

the reason that it would be hard is because ppl dont have other people to Shared Dream with, and all that 'dreams are personal shit' i dont follow.

You won't like it, because I will frighten you, or you won't remember, or you won't become lucid. So, it's pointless. This only works between people that already do shared dreaming with each other on a routine basis. In order to have a shared dream induced lucid dream, you have to do shared dreaming first.

No, but it helps. I become OneiroMonster and frighten people so they will remember their dreams. I look strange so they will become lucid, probably a giant cat demon. But, that is the least likely possibility. Most likely you will not remember, and even likelier than that you will not become lucid.

I have seen such shadow people walking back and forth across a road. Later I found out they were Night Marchers.
