Hello DV, It has been a while since I have logged onto here, but to catch you all up, I have been a member here since 2005. I am 30 years old, and have studied dreams / lucid dreaming ever since I joined here. To get you all caught up with the things I have realised in the last month I guess I can start when I was a child. I was about 5 years old and I moved into a house that was haunted by a demonic spirit. Every time I would go to bed, I would wake up in the middle of the night with the most extreme feeling of evil and fear. So strong, that I could feel my own fear. That whatever was standing over my bed side, If I were to move, would get me. I would lay there in my bed silently in the night, watching these little blue "imps" or demons, fly across my room. They would pass through my floor, walls, and jump off my dresser and vanish into thin air. I still have an image of one of the imps walking toward me, and poppin up and down. It is burned into my mind. One night I woke up after a nightmare and found 3 scratch marks on my stomach. Sign of a demonic haunting. I would also get the extreme feeling as I was sleeping, of being raped. I have never had any such things happen to me ever in my life. They call what i just describe, a succubus. I didn't realize what I went through until actually a month ago. 25 years after the incidences took place. I remember though, always walking through life, feeling disconnected. Like I was constantly looking or searching for something I was never going to find. Through all the oppression, I found out I was an Empath. I found out I can pick up on people's energy, past and present. Energy in my surroundings. I also sense spiritual energy. Through out my life and my piecing together the puzzle pieces of what I went through and this so called "ability" I mastered the art of Astral Projection... This is how I can best describe it. I am greatly intune with my own inner energy. I can feel my energy constantly wanting to leave my body, but the only thing holding me back is the solid mass it is stuck inside (my body). I sometimes get this sensation i describe as the "Drop Floor Effect ". Where you get the extreme sensation of the ground below your feet just vanishing and your energy free falling, but cannot escape your body. I also get the extreme feeling of my energy wanting to lift up off the ground and start flying (same sensation when I lucid dream) but cannot due to being trapped inside my body. There are other times, I feel as if all my energy on the inside is "sucking inward" or "imploding" on it self. Imagine a circle just shrinking until nothing is left, that is how it feels. I feel honestly if I did not have a body, I could teleport. Thus is not possible, due to being stuck inside a solid mass. Lastly, there are points in time almost daily, where I feel my inner energy is so charged (all my body hair stands up, i get energy "goosebumps") that if I were to reach out and touch someone, I would shock them. The last month, coming to terms with what I went through in my childhood home, and putting together all the other pieces of my "ability" I feel as if I unlocked a part of my brain that allows me to constantly Astral Project at will, and I cannot "shut it off". Like my IQ just went through the roof type stuff. People think it would be amazing to have an ability like that. To be an Empath. To feel the worlds surrounding energies. To feel spirits of the past and present. If you ask me, I feel my soul and energy is wanting to leave and escape my body. To be free. I am telling everyone here at dreamviews, I am that damn close to just "being gone". Only thing holding me back is my body. It's the cage that sustains me. If you ever seen the movie "Powder" when he runs through the field one second, the next, gone. Ya, How I so wish could be possible. There is more I want to explain, but to prevent a novel i'll post more later. Please let me know what you all think.. What can I do to help these sensations of wanting to leave my body? If you can go and let your body die, then it is maybe your time. But don't commit the suicide. That would be pretty stupidest thing you can do. Ask yourself what you can do on this planet, what else is left. Learning never ends. Helping others is also appreciated. I tried to leave my body forever with help of OBE in past, but I didn't manage that. My time hasn't come... and after 20 years from point when I tried to leave I found that indeed my way is continuing. Ways I didn't imagine opened before me. Meditations are great- try to feel your way.

dude, you got DPD... maybe even DDPD, I'm not an expert it's a neurotic mental disorder. basically what's happening is a chronic depersonalization. that means you're feeling detached and disconnected from your body. call a shrink, now this is serious

Not to be disrespectful to your beliefs, but I think you should lay off astral projecting for a little while until your mind feels at home in your body again. As Conscience said, maybe consulting a specialist to see if they can help would be useful for you right now.

: o I doubt that it is your time to go so plz dont think like that. If your house was really haunted its a good thing you got out of there though. Also, perhaps thinking of energy and being a spirit has made you feel more like that. Perhaps taking your mind off AP and energy stuff like that will help you feel better. I wouldn't know if you have a disorder or depression though. I know that when I was depressed before I felt disconnected in a way. But not in the way you see it. Perhaps if it continues to bother you talking to a psychologist will help but I think it may be because your mind is focused on AP related stuff and so you feel that way. (Sorry if I repeated the same thing like post above. Posted before it came up. XD)

Thank you all for your timely response. The thing is. It is not like i am depressed. I honestly haven't been happier in my life in quite some time. I walk around this earth with such a positive attitude, and vibe. I will have to do some research into what was discussed above. To tell you all the truth, I have seen therapists and etc and explained it all to them. They have tried medication before in the past, but nothing has ever helped. I do not have an suicidal thoughts or anything of harming anybody. When i feel these feelings, its very peaceful and blissful. Even my family and everyday friends have seen a change in me. A Positive one in the last month of realizing alot of stuff in my past. Like nothing in life can get me down. I dont know if i explained it in my first post, but the past way i can describe it to someone is like this. Imagine looking through a window. Seeing all that there is to see through that opening, but never being able to pass through it. That's how i feel when it comes to the spirit realm. or looking at a one way mirror. Knowing someone else is on the other side watching, but not being able to see them, just sense it. Anyways, thanks again. more comments are always weclome!

How did you start to feel this kind of sensation? Is it a way you have taken that lead to this experiences or did it happen just randomly to you? And a last thing, is this "sucking inward" a kind of void that you are able to enter in some way?

Hello Spiritofthewolf I have had thousands of obes and astral projections in my life. Astral projections are fun and whimsical but obes are much different. The sensations you are getting are due to something trying to find information from you. When they come they will pull you out of body just slightly, the falling sensations or sleep paralysis, when they do this your mind and theirs merges to create astral experiences. I don't get the separation issues as you are experiencing perhaps this is due to the number of times I have left my own body. It is easy to figure out what it is searching for if you know what to look for the one pulling you out. Do you know any of the people you see in your astral experiences? Look to see which people are lit up in your experience these are usually people you know and are part of your memories the others are it's memories. I spend much time talking to them and try to get to understand them through this type of experience which happens to me a couple times a week. Please tell me about your last astral experience if you will, try not to leave anything out. My experiences started at an early age but fully developed at thirteen I am now 45 years old and have had hundreds of experiences every year since I was thirteen. Next time you feel your body trying to rise up just relax your muscles till you move out of your body this is obeing. In an obe everything in your room is the same your body is laying in bed and you are in your house. If you are astral projecting some things are the same and some are different a door may lead you to another room in another house or things are out of order. Powessy

The exits for me come in many forms and feelings but what I am looking for during the exit is what defines the experience for me. I look for things out of place things that should not be there, or things missing. I have come to understand many of my experiences and how they are built and where they take place this also comes with complication when trying to explain them. An obe for me is one that is within the veil and not in the mind or within our treemends, outside ourselves. If you try to understand where the astral and the veil are you can better understand the differences of all these experiences and how they take place. I am going to insert a picture of how I believe we are connected to ourselves and where the astral takes place, this image is only a quick drawing representing my findings. pic1treemend.jpg Within the treemend we enter into a matrix of sorts one that is capable of generating any feeling or sensation. The treemend uses thought forms and the generated landscape to create boundaries with your experiences. You can change the physics if you understand this and you can do anything you want with no problems, like Neo in the matrix it is the mind that traps us. I can become anything or anyone in my experiences and I believe we can enter into others minds form within it but I have not figured this out yet. The obe realm is this world for me it is just beyond our ability to see into it. The astral is within the souls higher mind or within our treemend. The astral is whatever you want it to be it can be helpful to advancing yourself or it can trick you. I never gave much effort to the thoughts of remote viewing but have recently been looking harder and harder into it. People do not understand the astral and how their higher mind can be affected by outside forces. The higher mind uses commands that can be used to tell it how to become something inside of your mind. As for the astral being used for remote viewing this requires many things to happen as I am finding out. Many here are familiar with some of the commands like "clarity now" but thier are way more powerful commands such as "become myself and yourself together" or the ability to find others minds "telepathy" that can be used to find things with. I am trying to learn this now perhaps in time I will better understand it. Try to understand the astral is within your souls mind. The soul is in two parts the lower mind and then the higher mind. The lower mind soul just becomes you in life from a baby, the higher mind can later become itself inside of you to become itself inside of you here later in life to store memories of this world and to learn how to become itself the first time. As many are now we are only the lower mind, and the higher mind is not even aware of us. When many of you enter into the astral you just become yourself inside of your higher mind, when the experience ends then your higher mind becomes nothing inside of itself until you enter it again. I have never seen some rope of silver, that thought is almost funny. You have never seen any universe or dimension other then the one you are standing in right now. You have to get outside of your higher mind to find other dimensions. Powessy

The higher dimension the less our mind is able to comprehend it- Actually... I feel quite comfortable in more than 4D physical space and I somehow start to understand and comprehend 5D space. I saw parts of timestream. It makes weird feelings in my consciousness when I concentrate on it. It makes bad feeling if I try to manipulate it. Like what is more or less supposed to happen and I somehow know it would happen will not happen anymore... Using free will and information I can make small adjustments to that timestream. But what was supposed to happen will not happen anymore and I lose touch with supposed future events which I felt before. Like I lose touch. It rebuilds itself anew... but it takes some time. Time in which my intuition is off of events. Like my intuition for action and reactions stop to function as clear as I'm used to... I can't describe it better. It is this basic consciousness which can't understand what superconsciousness understands. Silver rope doesn't need to be of silver colour. But it was meant to be link to our soul(like it is not basically everywhere ) Some people told that silver rope doesn't allow OBE travels further than a few centimeters, or 1 meter from body. Or similar stupidities.
