There's actually a scientific term for this but I forget what it was... mosmosis?

The molecular structure of the liquid actually changes to reflect the word you speak into the liquid, so if you said the word love whilst thinking about what love is, the crystaline structure of the liquid will change to resonant that emotion, there is no one pattern for each type... each word will have a different effect.

So it seems it must be very easy to make holy water... just say a prayer or the word christ into some water and there you go

Not really, since the believers can discuss it...

If not for (as per usual) brazen, often over-the-top ridicule, so loved by many "non-believers" of issues like this, I&#39;m sure the rule wouldn&#39;t even exist.
Considering how said behavior still runs wild around other sections of this forum, though, I doubt the rule will change anytime soon, so please respect it.

I saw that movie, and thought it was very interesting (for anyone who hasn&#39;t, it&#39;s on google video for some reason). The thing about how are bodies are like 70% water or something is really thought provoking, as if this is real, which it very possibly is (though I am slightly skeptical about whether these changes really mean anything), then just think about what the effect is of everytime you say something like I hate myself is, and how much benefit could be gotten from just showing a little more love, respect, helping and forgivingness instead of just telling people (or nations) to fuck off and die when you get mad at them.

I think it&#39;s fine to be a little skeptical and ask questions and such in this forum...but being idiotic and rude and telling someone that they are flat out wrong isn&#39;t tolerated...because this area is for those who are open-minded enough to believe in even the possibility that there are things that they don&#39;t know about or fully understand, to talk freely about these things without the above demonstrated rudeness. ^_^

As for affecting water around you, I&#39;ve never heard of such a thing before, and it is actually an interesting thing to think about. I wouldn&#39;t dismiss it so quickly.

you know I visited that website but it didnt present any evidence or explanations of how thought affects water. It just showed me a bunch of pretty photographs. are my thoughts supposed to affect the photographs?

it has been a month since I visisted, maybe I was looking in the wrong places.

They don&#39;t affect water. The images are standing waves, and the creator of the "experiment" neglected to adhere to scientific standards--like isolating variables.

First of all, I didn&#39;t write the rules...so how exactly am I wrong? I&#39;m just telling you to respect them&#33;

Secondly, you ARE allowed to have an opinion...the only reason I had to bring up the issue with the rule was because of immature and rude replies (which is why the rule had to be implemented in the first place). Besides, I didn&#39;t even state the rule, I just asked people to be more respectful. Someone else quoted it.
