Hey Nomad, question; with the books you've read, could you put a small review (even one sentence with a 1-5 * rating or something) and whether or not you'd suggest it as reading material? Thanks!

      Communion by Whitley Streiber

Rating: Freaky Chills. It's about his experience with alien abduction.

      Psychic Warrior by David Morehouse

Rating: Must-effing read. Chronicles his recruitment and training into the US government's remote viewing program.

I have read so many books... I forget their titles and authors!

Here's another: Astral Projection for Beginners by Edain McCoy
I love this book! Highly recommended. It explains it so easily.

Conscious Dreaming by Robert Moss, right? I've read it, and it's very good.

I recommend Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce. It's as big as a phone book but it has a lot of really great information and preparation that are, imo, extremely helpful for AP.

I loved Vladimir Megre his books on the teachings of Anastasia, the books of Carlos Castaneda on the teachings of Don Juan. Right now I'm reading a book on sacred geometry but I don't think its a good one anyone know a better book?

I highly recommend Adventures Beyond The Body by William Buhlman. It's about his discovery of OBEs and his mindshift from skeptical athiest to a very spiritual person. Very inspiring!!

I second the recommendation for Robert Bruce's books.

Also, check out "My Big TOE (theory of everything)" by Thomas Campbell.

Robert Monroe's books are very interesting, also. He has a few, such as "Journeys Out of the Body" Any book by or about the Monroe Institute is worth a read. They were pioneers in OBE research.

I have a copy of Conscious Dreaming, it's very good for adept lucid dreamers and people interested in taking dreaming into a spiritual direction, but for beginning lucid dreamers there is anot a lot of specific instruction on how to get started with lucid dreaming.

That is exactly what I'm saying to my friends. It is a great book. It was my first book about dreaming and after reading it I was full of enthusiasm about writing down my dreams and having a DJ and I was amazed how many genius-like people have used it and all the tribes still using it etc.... BUT NO REAL instructions on how to get Lucids. That is where DV came into play for me

Classics, I got his complete works in one giant book at Barnes and Noble on clearance.
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

Just saw the movie "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", which kind of made a lot of sense to me as a movie about dreaming. Its something to watch when you don't feel like learning quantum physics any more...

I found The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep to be a very interesting perspective on the world of dreams, parts of it are very insightful. It shares a lot of the most esoteric and mystical Vajrayana Buddhist secrets in a way easy for us Westerners to understand (the author has lived in both cultures).

In fact the book is actually what first opened my mind up to shared dreaming. He's got a few fascinating stories about it. The dream yoga also promotes heightened awareness during the day through focusing concentration, with the ultimate goal of being aware and lucid throughout every night. A very interesting and educational read, if one's mind is opened to their ideas.
