Ahaha I felt super relaxed! I am a huge roller coaster guy though. So I am used to the sensation. I would say that while the vision was pretty vivid, I didn't feel any wind or anything. The seat was also rather comfy.
That would be awesome tbh. I get weird automatic writing whenever I am in the habit of recording dreams regularly. Also, sorry I didn't get to these earlier; IDK why the system didn't give me a notification.
Same! This site has been so helpful for me. I do wish there was a way to help with the load-balancing of it.
Great idea! I already check the thread before bed; really it would not be that much more to check.
"I fall asleep and my hand keeps writing gibberish." We should have points for sleepwalking/sleeptalking ! Gonna talk to Saizaphod about it
If I were a hacker I'd boost the servers of this site, sometimes it takes a while to load or can even not work at all... Still gratefull that Dreamviews exists tho, it brings motivation for lucid dreaming !
Try reviewing your three-step tasks (also new and old personal goals) each night to remember them, I can't wait for my next Lucid to do them !
Aliens can be similar to bugs, so I'd say you were close to gaining additional points for the Dream Theme (ok maybe not that close)
How did the roller coaster feel? Realistic? Sounds like you were comfortable enough to play scale!
Thanks, Saizaphod! It was definitely a borderline one. Hopefully I'll get to intermediate level by next competition and by then I will really dive into WILDs.
It does sound like you fell asleep and WILDed, the dream probably had just not formed yet properly(you did begin to see the dream a bit with the trees/green). We'll count it this time. Good luck for the last nights, beginner top scores are very even
Thanks @WanderingGhost! I tried WILD again today, but with less success. I had caffeine today (120mg) and I didn't have any on Friday. I wonder if that was a factor. I'm going to keep experimenting. I wish you luck in your endeavors over the days to come
Congrats on the brief lucid. I also attempted to WILD during an after work nap yesterday but I just ended up falling asleep regularly. I didn't even end up remembering any of my dreams from it!
It’s certainly possible that covid could’ve been a factor! Especially with how it’s affected travel and such. I think my brain was also very much in that pentesting/cybersecurity mode of “don’t trust anyone, it could all be manipulation”.
do you reckon covid may have anything to do with this dream?
They are an abomination. I know that they're necessary for the environment or whatever but I just wish they didn't have to look so creepy. And then when they crawl on you...Eugh.
I am also terrified of spiders
Haha, I sure hope so! Once I start attaining lucidity, I'll see if I can't ride one of those tsunamis to see how far it takes me.
So you too, eh? Maybe the tsunami will be a merry one.
Thanks to both of you! It actually felt a little bit hazy, but I'm going to work on demanding clarity next time I become lucid. And I will set that intention tonight!
