    1. Golden Cobra and Angelic Healing (with study guide)

      by , 12-01-2014 at 06:01 PM
Morning of December 1, 2014. Monday.

This entry has been abridged and reformatted for use as a study guide.

In my dream, my family and I as we appear now are living on Gellibrand Street in Clayfield. I am uncertain of the time. My beautiful wife Zsuzsanna confronts a golden cobra that had gotten into our apartment. The activity occurs on our porch. There is an extraordinary awareness of perfect movement and rhythm. She is apparently going to catch it without difficulty. Her visage exhibits no fear. They slowly sway in amazing contrast to each other’s movements and Zsuzsanna exhibits knowledge of martial arts stances. It is like watching a perfect analogy to ballet. Zsuzsanna faces the open entrance to our bedroom (which was originally designed to be a living room) while the snake mostly faces the porch windows.

Eventually, my dream self’s level of awareness changes. I do not want Zsuzsanna to be in any danger even though she seems adapt at what she is presently doing as if she had done it many times before. I am able to capture the cobra and soon throw it out the back door, which is now that of the Loomis Street house in America. Its open mouth goes over my hand a few times on the way to the back door, but I am in no danger and its bite does not break the skin.

In the next dream segment, my family and I had gone shopping. I soon realize, looking down, that I am walking on a narrow board that is elevated about three feet from the ground, which is supposedly where many people walk to get from store to store at the shopping mall. The board is no wider than one of my feet. I get really annoyed with this setup and verbally express how ridiculous it is. I jump off and walk along the normal sidewalk from that point.

Soon, I am wondering where our children are and I become worried. Our oldest son is present but the other four are elsewhere. I go under the house, which is a larger and more elevated version of the Clayfield house, and I see that there is water everywhere as well as larger stones.

I have to pull our second-youngest son out of an apparently unused pipe. Our oldest daughter is there and her feet had become stuck when trying to help him. Our youngest son is farther down in the same pipe but I manage to get him out as well, carefully maneuvering him past a couple jagged rocks as I pull him up. They are weak and ill from the cold water. I find an unfamiliar toddler lying on her back who does not appear to be breathing. I first think she is ours, but then she turns out to be a doll, but then turns into someone else’s child and starts giggling and seems healthy. Eventually, our toddler daughter is with the others. We are then immediately all at a hospital (as if having teleported), but in a mostly featureless room with no beds so everyone has to lie on the floor, although a nurse gets a few blankets. I notice that all the children have black fingernails, which indicates frostbite. They are still shivering and seemingly ill.

From here, I project waves of light from my hands, which eventually comes from my entire body. It makes everyone healthier and stronger over time. During this time, I look in a mirror and see a light blue halo over my head as well as patterns of light that resemble holographic angel wings.

Study questions. I am deliberately including questions meant to expose how asinine “interpretation” is (in the popular usage of the term):

Why did my dream render the porch setting?

Why did my dream render the cobra?

      Why was the cobra golden?

      What did Zsuzsanna represent?

What did the rescue situation represent?

What does the toddler to doll to toddler represent?

What is the origin of this dream?

      Answers to the above questions:

A porch is a type of autosymbolism that I create to serve as a liminal space buffer during RAS (reticular activating system) mediation, which I learned to do when I was four years old. It has ZERO to do with symbolism in the conventional sense or any factor of real life. It represents a specific state of consciousness that delays RAS modulating the dream state.

The cobra comes from four factors, the fourth explained in the next answer. Factor one is subliminal (non-lucid) control of RAS mediation, which otherwise pulls a dreamer out of the dream state. Factor two is vestibular system correlation, the most dominant factor of both lucid and non-lucid dream control, which is based on controlling the perception of the illusory dream body, the main factor of flying dreams. Factor three stems from lucid dreaming at age five, when I often created and controlled a cobra in a hayloft while standing in the center of the floor of a barn.

Gold dominates the dream state when I become semi-lucid (and is autosymbolism for an increase in dream state awareness) in the last stages of RAS mediation. In this case, I did not wake but shifted into a different dream scenario.

Zsuzsanna literally represented Zsuzsanna, though was also the vestibular system correlation (type 2) avatar in this case, and also held a nuance of our oldest son, who is experienced in martial arts. My dream combined these dynamics just as it combined the two houses I had lived in.

The rescue attempt is semi-lucid dream state reinduction using the “giving birth” analogy. The presence of water tells me what factor of ultradian rhythm I am in and has ZERO to do with waking life or waking life emotions.

The toddler scenario is a precursory emergent consciousness thread and simulacrum. The changes signify my varying levels of control of RAS mediation and changes in level of awareness within the dream state. Otherwise, a doll is autosymbolic of physical inactivity while asleep. The trick is to project the association into a simulacrum or avatar without waking up.

The healing scenario stems from autoscripting, though only the foundation, using such as “I am of the healing energies of Universal Mind”. Be aware that using “healing energies” in autoscripting will probably create a random scenario (as here) where healing is needed. Using “Universal Mind” may result in contact with the transpersonal interconsciousness or your own transformation in the dream state into an angelic being. (Do NOT use “healing” when actually needing to be healed; only use “I am the continuity of maximum well-being”. This was given to me by The Source years ago.)

    2. Cobra in the Mist

      by , 08-24-1976 at 02:24 PM
Night of August 24, 1976. Tuesday. (Though more correctly in regards to dreaming, very early “morning” of the 25th, and being the beginning of Wednesday).

I am somewhat uneasy and restless. In real life, I had been in the hospital for the operation on my right hand to commence the next day - to remove the bizarre and unexplainable same-sized cysts (of which there were four “complete” and more growing) perfectly lined up on the left side of my thumb and partly down my wrist, which appeared to have fetal-like design of all things, like one of those “twins” you hear about in some ways, but not usually later in life (and there was a later rather ridiculous rumor in school that it was from a snake, as in snake “babies” - a story that I was not the originator of in any way). I was fifteen at the time and ready to enter tenth grade within a short time. After midnight, in real life, my mother being allowed to stay at my bedside as I was falling asleep (though she finally went home for rest the night after my operation), the young black nurse came in (someone I knew when much younger), shined a flashlight on my face, and asked if I wanted sleeping pills (though I was actually almost asleep at that point). She then directed the flashlight up at the television (which was quite high up on the wall) where “Night of the Lepus” was showing. “Watchin’ TEE vee,” she says with a hint of disapproval and left the room for the night (her flashlight oddly “enhancing” the scene of a seeming spotlight of the “herd” of giant rabbits).

In the eventual dream, there is a cobra under the operating table which does not really get to me, though I have to remember to keep my arm up and on the table (though there is a concern of what will happen when the large dose of anesthesia takes effect). Nothing eventful happens other than the “return” of a common dream element when I was much younger, this being an unusual “mist” (very cloud-like) that rolls along from about six to twelve inches from any implied floor or ground. There are also various distorted and apparently angry faces of unusual colors (with mostly passive responses on my part, as I seem mostly disembodied) and flashbacks to earlier childhood dreams. There are other cobra dreams related to this, the earliest being “Cobra in the Hayloft” from August 18, 1966, seemingly my first deliberate attempt to create a so-called tulpa (but fully in-dream). On September 9th (when I was supposed to be starting school by then but did not due to overwhelming pain as the feeling was eventually coming back in that area of my hand), I had the “Hello Harry” dream where the mist seemed to be engulfing a very large portion of my subconscious mind. This dream centered around a man who had died, but sang “Happy Birthday” to himself in answer to the one friend near his coffin in a basement and one-man party scenario. (This is not really that significant as my birthday is actually on December 20). Prior to the fall into the mist, I had been bitten on the thumb by a cobra in an extremely vivid dream of being in my backyard. The only good thing about this time was the “mystery girl” comforting me, which somehow reminded me of a scenario from the movie “Cat Ballou” (last seen on September 13, 1974, prior to the last time I saw “Night of the Lepus” shortly after - the other two movies airing being “Dark Passage” on another channel and “The Strange Door” on another).

This real-life event of my first ever longer hospital stay directly and precisely confirmed several precognitive dreams from early childhood, including one recurring one with both the enlarged right thumb and even the detail of a giant rabbit (relative to “Night of the Lepus” on television). This confirms the idea of physical precognition or foreshadowing of one’s own internal nature being somehow available (at least subconsciously) several years prior (though that certainly does not explain how I knew of the movie before it was even made, which happened fairly often when young).

Amusingly, the night before, the movie title shown at the same time at night (11:30) and same network (CBS) was “Doctor, You’ve Got to Be Kidding”. If that were not amusing enough, again, the previous time I had actually watched “Night of the Lepus” was on Friday the 13th in September of 1974. My wife’s birthday was Friday the 13th in September of 1968. This was long before I knew she was a real person (which came in 1991).

    3. Cobra in the Hayloft

      by , 08-18-1976 at 06:00 AM
Night of August 18, 1966. Thursday.

This is probably one of my first more precisely documented dreams over time. It was recurring and lucid in some versions. One might think this would be a nightmare, but not even close, just a sense of childlike awe and wonder and likely my first tulpa-creating attempt within a dream state.

My dream usually starts at the Concordia Ballroom (at 1129 La Crosse Street) where my father often performed in real life. It is fairly late at night. I danced there in reality at the time, but in my dream, things are quite different. The Concordia building seems to be oriented perpendicular to actuality. There are also a lot of cars that seem more of a late 1940s style than the 1960s.

Not only that, I end up wandering off into the darkness, yet seeing that a large barn…yes…a barn - exists just down the street a short distance from the Concordia Ballroom.

In the barn it is semi-dark. Cobras are certainly not to be found in Wisconsin (in the wild, anyway), but there is a cobra in the hayloft (and only ever one). It is mostly black with a bit of yellowish orange. In some versions (even later on, as it got colder in real life), I wait expectantly, but wake up before it appears (almost as if it had to appear before I could leave my dream with “better confidence” - hard to explain). Sometimes it seems to be a long time for me to be standing there. No drama happens. No one comes looking for me. I do not think of climbing up to the hayloft at all. The cobra is high above in the hayloft, upright, around the middle area, and is no real threat. There seems to be a mystical atmosphere over the whole time period with similar dreams.

    4. The Cobra Kit

      by , 06-14-1975 at 12:14 PM
Morning of June 14, 1975. Saturday.

This dream scenario takes place mostly in the living room in our Cubitis home and everything is mostly the same as it is in reality. My father seems to be the only other character in my dream. (I believe there is a subtle association with Father’s Day, which would be the day after this date, though I am the one who gets a gift.) I am on the couch - and this was the time when visitors used it for sleeping. It is in its normal place in the southwest corner of the living room, lengthwise to the south wall.

I have been given a plastic model kit from Revell, I believe. It is a cobra, the snake kind, not the car model. It is black and has a couple interchangeable pieces for the final version. (I have not seen this kit in real life if there is one like it.) The finished plastic model has hinges in one section that allow it to sway side to side like a real cobra. I do not think I have finished putting the model together before my dream finally fades.

It is possible that my dream self in this case associated the Cobra Car with the cobra snake. However, I had a very early childhood dream of a cobra in the hayloft and deliberately trying to “create” it within my lucid dream in one clearer version, which can also be found in this journal (Link). There may be a connection or association, in this case, “creating” a cobra with a model rather than as a tulpa.

In real life (prior to this dream), I had gotten a large number of plastic model kits from sister Carol, for my birthday (December 20th) and Christmas, that were of animals such as a bear, deer, a couple horses (including a rather large black stallion), and so on. My mother had gotten me mostly only car models, but also a few dinosaur models later.

    5. "Terra Cotta"

      by , 11-30-1974 at 03:09 PM
Morning of November 30, 1974. Sunday.

I am wandering around in an unfamiliar area yet somehow am also aware it is part of my school. I find a large utility room, seemingly underground, which has a portal into another dimension in a west wall. This portal starts out as a very large, long square tunnel or metallic hall, somewhat like part of a huge ventilation system - yet large enough for a person to stand fully upright within. All of the sides; floor, ceiling, and walls; are like thin aluminum but not as pliant as would be the case in reality. Still, I make a sort of hollow clomping sound (with nuances somewhat like flexing roofing tin) as I walk through the silvery hall towards an unknown destination. At one point I notice a very large pipe with green sludge flowing out.

After seemingly a fair amount of time turning down various identical passageways, I end up in another world, apparently an alien planet. The race of human-like beings are about seven feet tall on average and have striped purple and white skin in a zebra-like pattern. Their features remind me vaguely of a more detailed and “realistic” Doctor Seuss character (such as a hairless Grinch) as previous in-dream aliens have sometimes appeared, but still with that sense of cartoon-like unlikelihood in conscious afterthought.

The dominant focus is of a giant beige-brown cobra (about six feet high when in striking position) that is known as “Terra Cotta”. It is originally kept in a cage of sorts by the “Zebra Men” but gets out shortly after I enter their world. It follows me back into my world (yet does not pose any direct threat at any time). Several friends and I plan to trap it back in its own world again, the main one being Charles D on his bicycle in one scene. There is some discussion of using it as a money-making endeavor with a carnival or some such, and also something about writing a book, but this does not clarify or continue.

For some reason, “Terra Cotta” seems a very familiar titular form in-dream at one point, apparently via a false memory, of being the name of a well-known war movie; I think about Pearl Harbor. In real life, after my dream, I mentioned it to my best friend Toby T on the school bus and he apparently had a similar association.

A partial influence of this dream may very loosely be based on the terra cotta warriors (also written as terracotta and terra-cotta) which I had not really known much about at this time. There is a terra cotta “monk with cobra” in Mianyang, China.
